Void to feel
Broken the wheel
I am the reason you feel
The reason you feel
The reason you feel no more
Cage confines
A beautiful mine
I, the way that you feel
The long divides
The cold divides
The pain divides you

I see you
I see through

Where will you be if you don't go
You'll never find
What will you see if you don't look
Theyre never mine
Never mine
Never mine

Touch the taste
The empty embrace
I am the reason you run
The reason you run
The reason you run from here
The lost design for the beautiful mine
I, the way that you feel
The long divides
The cold divides
The pain divides you

I see you
I see through

Where will you be if you don't go
You'll never find
What will you see if you don't look
You're never mine
Never mine
Never mine

How will you stand if you fall down and never try
Looking for someone you'll never be, never find
Never find
Never fine

(and again and again and again and again and again)

Where will you be if you don't go
You'll never find
What will you see if you don't look
Theyre never mine
Never mine
Never mine
How will you stand if you fall down and never try
Looking for someone you'll never be, never find

Beautiful mine

General Comment:when i first saw this song live i was just totally still and silent. clint performed the song so different to the original. it was in the middle of bumfuck at a tiny RSM there were about 20 people there with only a few actually knowing what was going on... i have seen these guys a few times and i have never seen them perform this song the way they did that night... it was even more beautiful than the album version!

General Comment:Kurt had all the sections of this song except the chorus which came together in a hotel room in Mackay when we were on tour with Killing Heidi. The original demoed version was significantly different to the album version, slightly heavier, but then the decision was made to go for a slower, groovier feel. The drum/bass groove in the verse was finalised in the studio and the chorus was completed in the studio in the final days of the album sessions. The middle section of the song was finalised by Kurt and mixing maestro Tim Palmer in the mixing studio in Los Angeles as it was sent with several versions to choose from.

General Comment:This band sounds nothing like Pearl Jam what are you all on crack? And whoever said that this is the best band since ACDC needs to pull their head out of their asses and realise a) The Butterfly Effect as much as I love them, really aren't that original, I suggest you go grab a copy of Deftones - White Pony or even Disturbed - The Sickness; and b) that there have been countless of great Aussie hard rock bands, with a unique sound such as Legends of Motorsport etc that get no exposure whatsoever. I love how hard-working The Butterfly Efect are, they always seem to be on tour, plus they really are in their element live. Anyway, this seems to be a fan-favourite and its what they finished with when I saw them live last week.

General Comment:to get a msg across smtimes its easier to pose questions to the person in question so they hav to think n solve it themselves.this is wat i think they are doing instead of js constantly tellin someone to do smthn and tellin them to get out out of there current situation

General Comment:I think it's a message to someone who is depressed, or in a hole that's hard to get out of. He's telling them to get up and start doing something with their lives rather than sitting around moping. Actually, after saying that, it could be a message to emos. Apart from that, go see them live, it's an experience you will not forget quickly. And sweaty goth got the lyrics right.
