I wake up to find myself
After all these years
And though all this time has gone
It still seems so unclear

'Cause there's no one else,
Since I found you
I know its been so hard
You should know

If I die tomorrow
As the minutes fade away
I can't remember
Have I said all I can say?
Your my everything
You make me feel so alive
If I die tomorrow

It brings out the worst in me
When your not around
I miss the sound of your voice
The silence seems so loud

'Cause there's no one else,
Since I found you
I know its been so hard
You should know

If I die tomorrow
As the minutes fade away
I can't remember
Have I said all I can say?
Your my everything
You make me feel so alive
If I die tomorrow

I spent all my life
Looking for our innocence
I've got nothing to lose
One thing to prove
I won't make the same mistakes
And now I know
That everything will be okay
If I die tomorrow

If I die tomorrow
As the minutes fade away
I can't remember
Have I said all I can say?
Your my everything
You make me feel so alive
Your my everything
You make me feel so alive
If I die tomorrow
If I die tomorrow

Great song... very hard. funny thing about it though... it was actually written by Simple Plan. When they decided not to use to for their record, they gave it to Bob Rock who gave it to Motley Crue who did their own changes. So next time you hear it, remember that it coulda come close to being on a Simple Plan record.

I LOVE this song... I find it very hard to imagine this song on a Simple Plan cd. I think the lead singer's voice sounds too "boyish" to sing this song. I think it sounds better harder

Anybody watch the video to this song? I was watching it yesterday and noticed something.

In case you haven't seen it, it has a woman in an art museum looking at many paintings when each Motley Crue member pulls her in some of them. Here's what I noticed: What is going on in the MC's painting world reflects on the roughest parts of their lives.

Vince Neil: He's driving in a car with the chick and it appears he's driving real fast and the chick is freaking out. Didn't Vince get in a car wreck that killed someone? Nikki Sixx: He is in a coffin where he's dead and the chick appears as a nurse and she plunges a needle into his heart bringing him back to life. Any Crue fan should know what this is about. Tommy Lee: It appears he's in a jail cell and he's screaming as if in pain or agony. He did serve some time for beating up Pamela Lee when they were married. Mick Mars: This is one I don't know about. He is standing at the end of a cliff with wings on him and falls off as the wings fall of themselves and the chick tries to save him. Has anything similar to this happened to Mick?

    Interesting, huh?

Easily mistaken for a love song, but Vince once said to him it's basically a message from band member to band member

actually if you look close on that one the flames surrounding him are on spoons which is hinting at drugs for him. good song alot of meaning to it and kinda emotional considering who it is......you go from girls girls girls to if i die tomorrow

Nice observation Slipknotfan85! I actually did not notice the references to the actual events until you mentioned them.

However, upon closer observation, I noticed that Mick Mars comes second (after Vince). He has a severe back condition and has had it for years resulting in a hip replacement a few months ago… I think this is what they are referencing.

Nikki is last (after Tommy), and the spoons obliviously reference his heroin addiction of the mid 80\'s.

Also, the car that Vince is driving in the Video is a Ford Pantera. This is the same car that Vince was driving home from the liquor store with friend Razzle (Hanoi Rocks). He had been drinking, and lost control of the car and ended up in an accident with a VW Beetle (if i recall correctly) killing Razzle and a passenger in the other car, and leaving the driver of the VW paralyzed. Vince escaped unscathed. I think the actual car Vince crashed, however, was red, not yellow as shown in the video.

Standing On The Edge Of Summer

In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Cajun Girl
Little Feat
Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
