I know this song is about alcohol abuse but did you know that the line "Sick and tired of being sick and tired" was first coined by an American voting and civil right activist called Fannie Lou Townsend Hamer. Look her up.
I've listen to this song so many times and the generally meaning has always been a struggle with the demon alcohol after reading about this remarkable woman the words of this song has taken on a completely different meaning.
Just a thought
But looking at the lyrics again I think in this song Papa Roach have personified alcohol and the song's about the hold alcohol had over Coby's life etc. It's clever how they do it I think a lot of bands do it in their songs. All of the lyrics seem to fit this theme especially the chorus.
