You are subject to inspections,
Those are not your lips
Have you been kissed by a computer?
Are you able to move your hips?
It’s the skins can you see them,
Holding us in?
The skins can you see them?
We cling to our skins.
Is it true, are you changing?
If so I won’t come in.
Are you going to be so different?
There’s a world without skin.
It’s the skins can you see them,
Holding us in?
The skins can you see them?
We cling to our skins.
Randy Perkins where are you now?
The age of innocence is dead
Legions of legends have shown us how,
When you’re ageing it’s so hard to keep your head,
When you’re ageing it’s so hard to keep your head,
I’m not complaining it’s so hard to keep my head,
When you’re ageing it’s so hard to keep your head.
It’s the skins can you see them,
Holding us in?
The skins can you see them?
We cling to our skins.
Those are not your lips
Have you been kissed by a computer?
Are you able to move your hips?
It’s the skins can you see them,
Holding us in?
The skins can you see them?

When it says, "Are you changing?" Again, a clever metaphor to "changing out" of physical appearances and revealing the self -- and that may be extremely different from how it may seem from judging from appearance, hence "are you going to be so different?" referring to wondering if the person inside is very different to outside appearances and first impressions, and "There's a world without skins," again pointing out that physical appearance is not everything.
According to my speculation above, this kind of explains the first verse about "Those are not your lips/Have you been kissed by a computer" as it is found out that the real person inside is drastically different.
Anyways, simply my two cents.
Why is this only on the UK Album? I am so confused, I think this is one of their catchiest songs...
