wow.. this song was recommended to me and all I can say is 'wow'

"The tragedy starts from the very first spark" how true is that.. despite it feeling brilliant.. investing your heart. .. means you have alot to lose.. when [inevitably] it sours... this song had me sitting numb at my laptop.

Every bit of this song is simply amazing. "The saddest part of a broken heart, isn't the ending so much as the start..." that is completely true. The first time I heard this song I was literally dumbfounded. I didn't know what to say to it because it just described all of those feelings, and such, so perfectly...

Brilliant! just ridiculously brilliant!
this song is one of the most honest songs out about one's feelings. i also love the line: 'losing your mind for the sake of your heart'... that's one powerful lyric right there. i think this song just sums up all those heartaches and headaches one goes through after a break up...
it's a beautiful song that makes my heart weep.

'wow' was the first thing i said too... the song is so simple and minimalistic and yet its able to yank out all those old memories and feelings go rushing through me and i remember the beauty and the pain.

Feist's music is so sensual.. she has a great voice and amazing talent but I think her image doesnt go too much... she should be more sexy and make better videos because they all suck

I think this is by far the best line in this entire song. As well as:

Don't you wish that we could forget that kiss
And see this for what it is
That we're not in love

From my own personal experience, I thought I was love, and every single kiss hurt so bad. I didn't know why at the time, but I guess the broken heart had started a long time before we broke up.

It's about losing a love, and how you always know that in the end it was bad, but you still want it back because you're remembering how amazing it was at the start. You can't let go of the love you first felt at the start of the relationship, and even though you know its not gonna get better, you wish things were like the start. So you try to convince yourself things arent gonna get better and make yourself realize that by the end it wasnt worth it.

Also, by falling in love, it has changed you (losin your mind for the sake of your heart, ... It was hard to tell just how I felt

I think those are some of the truest words ever written. Such an interesting thought as well...I've just got out of something with someone, am heartbroken, but it was never easy...I definitely did lose my mind for the sake of my heart, and I think the whole thing was tragic, really.

Feist is amazing.
