Yeah, i got the sarcastic feeling too. it's like it makes them feel great, but the way he says it makes it seem like that's a terrible thing, and now he needs drugs to make him happy. The sad thing is, it's sarcastic, but they're still drug addicts...

I got a song by ween a while ago that was called Zoloft, but it was nothing like this. the chorus is like "and the snow, though it falls, it never falls hard enough. it masks the smooth, exposes the rough" anybody know what the hell song that is?

This song scares me...this is really how zoloft and other antidepressants make me feel. Even though I feel better per se, I always get this gut intuition that its the drugs masking reality and who I am. Nevertheless, life is pretty shitty without them.

i love this song.. ween is one of the great bands left that can still truely write amazing music that captures feeling perfectly. The gut intuition thing you are talking about I even get from listening to this song.. its like you are actually on Zoloft lol

I can't find anything on that mystery song, either. One thing though: I'm almost positive it's Ween. Except I think it's just one of them. I dunno, it's driving me insane. Love the song though.

The "fake" zoloft is my favorite song. I'm torn between wanting to know who wrote it so I can thank them, and having it always remain ambiguous. Maybe we'll figure it out next time it snows. It seems to me that the song should be called "Amplified Muffle" but I don't know if that's what other people get out of it.
