No offense, but you mcrgirl5851 is right- you can't hear the words! It is just an interlude- beautiful, but an interlude. How can we talk about what is basically a filler for the next song means? It complements Thank You For The Venom wonderfully, yes, but it's like trying to explain the meaning in the bass line intro f a song. You can't do it! I don't wabnt to sound hard-assed or anything, it's just....yeah :)

I thought it was a nice touch, when I first heard it I had to go back and listen to it again right away. I guess your gonna hate it or love it. Someone needs to fix the lyrics cause those are wrong.
The correct lyrics are:

Since We Talk Alone
Come Angels of Unknown
Come Angels of Unknown

no, they're right, yours are wrong.
this song plays a crucial part to the story.
after commiting suicide in "the jetset life" cause he lost hope back in "ghost of you", he's now calling upon angels and demons to bring him back to life and help him reclaim his lost love.

Plus, Angels of unknown are Satan's angels, Satan's angels are coming to try and stop him from finishing his job in claiming 1000 lives.

I wish they had lyrics for it in booklet (or whatever you're supposed to call it) I like it ok by itself but it is awesome how it leads into Thank You for the Venom, makes it muchmuch better. Just wish the album was longer.

yeah the angels of the unknown are definetly satans angels because didn't he make some kind of wager with satan that he would save 100 lives if his girlfriend could live, or something like that anyway. This interlude is amazing its funny how a couple of words and some music can cause so many different ideas, i think its in ways more effective then a whole song thats pretty self explanitory and takes little thinking.

I like the way this song is soft, melodic, sort of... angelic if you think about it. And just when you're thinking, "So, that was really peaceful..."- BAM! It goes right back into something loud- Thank You For The Venom. And I liked that. It highlighted everything very nicely.

I think this is wfhere the story in the album is partly told where the chick dies and the dude may be praying that she will be ok till he can kill 1000 evil men to resurect her just a guess. I think it is really eery and freaking cool

i really don't think 'angels unknown' means angels from hell. I mean if he wanted the saints to protect this person, he probably does not want demons to come and get her/him? I think 'angels unknown' means something like help or guidance from where you never expected to get any. Like a sunray through clouds on a rainy day. You never expected it to happen, but when it does it cheers you up for some absurd reason. Like the poem by e.e. cummings; when strangers meet...

Scratch that. I think if you read it together: angels of God, angels unknown, It sounds as if the angels (mercy) of God is unknown to him. Still, as a last resort he prays to God to send his angels (mercy) to his loved one in her hour of need, even though he is uncertain of it himself.

i REALLY does sound like "come angels of the unknows, come angels of the unknown" doesn't it !!
i love this album, but i guess i've never really thought to try and decipher the lyrics to this !!
this sounds melodramatic but it kinda makes my skin tingle.
and it reminds me of the smiths, for some absurd reason.

o.O

"Saints protect her now...."
"Come angels of the Lord...."
"Come angels of Unknown"

think this song is hafly tied into Gerards grandmothers death, and the whole concept album theme. Gerards telling the angels to protect his grandmother through her death...seems easy to understand. With the concept album...i belive this is around the part where Gerard is calling the angels to watch over the one he loves to protect her from the devil after he finally kills 1000 men to be with her.

short as it is, it bears as much meaning, if not more than any other song on the album.

I may be wrong but...I've always thought it had something to do with the death of Mikey and Gerard's grandmother.
but...thats just what I think.

Well hopefully I'm not a total nerd for doing this but I played Sweet Revenge on mychemicalromance.com and the bride and bridegroom get killed and you have to fly through hell...I think this song is really emotional and intense because the bridegroom is dying and he's begging the saints and angels and finally in his desperation the demons to protect his future bride

I think the correct song lyrics are actually:

Since we talked to her now,
Come angels of the Lord,
come angels of the Lord

What I think he's saying, basically, is that his dead girlfriend (in the whole 1000 evil mean concept) is dead, and she's being protected by Saints or whatever happens when you die. But he's going to keep going on killing the 1000 evil men to bring her back. Heaven and Hell probably aren't very happy that all these people are dying so soon, so they send out their angels. But he is kind of taunting them, saying 'Come and get me!' He's still going to keep killing till he has his girlfriend back. That why it says 'The Lord' once and the 'Unknown'. It makes perfect sense, and as well as being the interlude of all the songs in the album, I think it's a kind of interlude in the story of the 1000 evil men, but I'm not sure.
