  My Interpretation:I always thought the words were;
  
  "Tell me if you love me like you think you want to be in love",
  
  as in, "The way that you feel for me, is this the way that you've always wanted it? Is this the "true love" you've been waiting for your whole life? Is this what you were dreaming to have?"
  
  And I can really connect with that; I think everyone asks themselves that at least once in each relationship.

  I think its about one of their relationships and the other person didnt approve of their music careers

  General Comment:for me,this song is about those relationships that are never quite real relationships for one reason or another..
  one person or the other refuses to just give into it.
  "pull on my hand and say, please let's just make it this way"
  
  the relationship tense, and everything becomes a struggle
  "I know you plan out everything that you want to say
  I wish that we didn't have to go about things this way"
  "don't get so uptight"
  
  and one person isn't looking things from the other person's perspectives
  "Tell me you love me like you think you want to be loved"

  General Comment:I think this song is about people getting to know each other and the other one is really nervous around her. She wants things to just work out naturally without forcing it. The best relationships are the ones that just work out without having to force conversation or worrying about what to talk about next.
