(for those who don't know, tegan and sara are very short)
In the second verse she says that she doesn’t want to change (‘I don't want to move a thing’), and believes that they will work as is (‘I'm sure you'll fit right into me
And all the things I don't want’). The ‘things’ she doesn’t want could be all the men who go after her, who might be just as full of ‘love and longing’ as her but she doesn’t desire them because of her sexuality.
Not sure about the bridge, but I would guess that though the girl seems to be flirting with her she denies any attraction (‘you say you don't see any part of me
