Tell myself that I was doin' all right
There's nothin' left to do tonight
But go crazy on you
Crazy on you

Let me go crazy, crazy on you, oh
Can't you see what you do to me baby,
You make me crazy, you make me act like a maniac
I'm like a lunatic, you make me sick
You're truly the only one who can do this to me
You just make me get so crazy
I go schizo, I get so insane I just go schizophrenic
One minute I want to slit your throat the next I want to sex
You make me crazy
The way we act like two maniacs in the sack
We fuck like two jack rabbits and maybe that's a bad habit
'Cause the next day we right back at it
In the same exact pattern
What the fuck is the matter with us
We can't figure out if it's lust
Or it's love which that is attractin' us to each other
They say that every man grows up to marry his own mother
Which would explain why you're such a motherfuckin' bitch
But I stay and still stick it out with you
Even though I just hit you today but you deserved it
You hit me first and provoked me to choke you
Just 'cause I came home late last night
Crawled in bed and I woke you
But if there's one thing about you that I admire
It's baby, because you stay with me
Maybe 'cause you're as crazy as I am
'Cause when I look at you
I can see an angel in your eyes but if I look deeper inside
I see a freakish little side, like a devil in disguise
You're always full of surprises
Always pullin' devices out your purse, little vibrators and dildos
You fucked yourself so much you barely feel those anymore
You're only twenty four but you're plenty more mature
Than those other little hoes who just act like little girls
Like they're in middle school still you're crazy, sexy, cool
Chill you play your position you never step out of line
Even though I stay in your business
You've always kept out of mine
I wonder what's on your mind
Sometimes they say love is blind
Maybe that's why the first time I dotted your eye
You didn't see the sign
Or maybe you did maybe you like being shoved
Maybe cause we're crazy in love

Let me go crazy on you
Crazy on you
Let me go crazy, crazy on you, oh
You are the ink to my paper
What my pen is to my my pad
The moral, the very fiber
The whole substance to my rap
You are my reason for being
The meaning of my existence
If it wasn't for you I would never be able to spit this
As intense as I do, and the irony
Is you rely on me as much
As I rely on you to inspire me like you do
You provide me the lighter fluid the fuel to my fire
You're my entire supply of gas, the match and igniter
The only way that I'm able to stay so stable
Is you're the legs to my table,
If you were to break I'd fall on my face
But I'm always gonna make you feel
I don't need you as much as I really need you
So you don't use it to your advantage
But you're essential to me
You're the air I breathe
I believe if you ever leave me
I'd probably have no reason to be
You are the Kim to my Marshall
You're the Slim to my Shady
The Dre to my Eminem
The Alana to my Hailie
You are the word that I'm lookin for
When I'm tryin' to describe how I feel inside
And the right one just won't come to my mind
You're like the pillar that props me up
The beam that supports me
The bitch who never took half
The wife who never divorced me
You're like the root to my evil
You let my devil come out me
You let me beat the shit out you before you beat the shit out me
And no matter how much too much is never enough
Maybe 'cause we're crazy in love

Let me go crazy on you
Crazy on you
Let me go Crazy, crazy on you oh

Song Meaning:This song is about Eminems relationship with drugs. These parts are what particularly grab me.

"Always pullin' devices out your purse, little vibrators and dildos
You fucked yourself so much you barely feel those anymore"

He is referring to the buzzing feeling that you get throughout your body when you are high drugs such as speed, cocaine, or meth. Over long periods of use it is harder to feel such a great buzzing sensation...

"You're only twenty four but you're plenty more mature
Than those other little hoes who just act like little girls
Like they're in middle school still you're crazy, sexy, cool
    Chillen"

These drugs keep you high for 24 hours or longer thats why he says you're only 24 he means 24 hours...

When he says you are plenty more mature then those other little hoes and so on... He is saying it is a better drug then Marijuana and Alcohol.... They dont last as long as you act out of control when you use them....

The drugs that he is reffering you have more in control over crazy, sexy, cool, chillen. And they feel much better too.. They give you incredible brain power and you find yourself thinking outside the box and feeling more intelligent, confident and so forth.

All the rest of the song its saying how the drugs are great when you use them; you are really high and enjoying it but you do have an incredible nasty comedown.. That knocks you around a bit.. Similar to a hangover.. Then because your an addict you find yourself repeated the process over and over again.

Example: You let me beat the shit out you; before you beat the shit out me.

Drugs is what this song is all about...

Song Meaning:After I realized what this song was REALLY about, I hunted the internet for anyone who agreed with my interpretation but found nothing. So, I had to submit my interpretation. This song is about drugs, & Eminem's relationship with them. Maybe no one realized it because you'd have to do drugs to know some of these things...

In the first verse, Eminem raps:
"Can't you see what you do to me baby?
You make me crazy, you make me act like a maniac.
I'm like a lunatic, you make me sick
You truly are the only one who can do this to me
You just make me get so crazy.
I go skitzo, I get so insane I just go skitzophrenic."

When he's on them, he's "crazy" & acts like a "maniac" or "lunatic," because he does & feels things high that he would not sober. The drugs make him sick, which refers to the nausea attributed to doing most drugs. The drugs are the only thing that can make him feel this way, & he'd rather have the feeling of being high than the feeling of genuine love with someone else. He gets "skitzo" & "insane" over how much he loves drugs.

Then, he says, "One minute I want to slit your throat, the next I want to sex." This describes the love/hate relationship he has with his addiction to drugs. He loves the feeling he gets from them, but hates the fact that he has an addiction.

Also in the first verse, Em says:
"The way we act like 2 maniacs in the sac
    We fuck like 2 jackrabbits
And maybe that's a bad habit.
Cuz the next day we're right back at it
    In the same exact pattern
What the fuck is the matter with us
We can't figure out if it's
    Lust or it's love."

He says that him & the drugs "act like two maniacs in the sac" & "fuck like two jackrabbits," because the peak of his high is so intense & so fleeting, it's like having fast sex; it's over before he knows it. The he says, "Maybe that's a bad habit, 'cause the next day we're right back at it in the same exact pattern." He wants that same "jackrabbit" feeling so he keeps doing them every day in the same pattern of events/feelings/etc. When he can't decide if it's lust or love, it means he can't decide if he actually NEEDS the drugs, or if he can freely use them without becoming addicted.

    Most importantly, Eminem says:
"What's sad is what's attracting us to each other
They say that every man grows up to marry his own mother."

This line eludes to Eminem's song "My Mom" & his strong distaste for his mother. In "My Mom," Eminem tells that the reason he does drugs is because his mother was hooked on them. He is "marrying" drugs because they remind him of his mother.

"But I stay and still stick it out with you even though I just hit you today
But you deserve it you hit me first and provoked me to choke you."

He "hit" the drugs meaning he did them. "Hit" is a term to do them. The drugs "provoked" him by giving him a great, easy high when he first started using them. But as his tolerance to drugs built, Em became aggravated that he couldn't get that same time so he used them even harder to get that same feeling.

"Cuz when I look at you I can see an angel in your eyes
But if I look deeper inside I see your freakish little side.
    Like a devil in disguise,
    You're always full of surprises
    Always pullin' devises
Out your purse, little vibrators and dildos."

In the beginning, recreational drug use was occasional & innocent; not addictive. But as he used them more & more, he could see how drugs have brought out the negatives in him. "You're always full of surprises...little vibrators & dildos," shows his experimentation with different drugs, how the options & choices are endless.

    "You barely feel those anymore
You're only 24 but you're plenty more mature."

Here is where Eminem details his high tolerance; he has to do a lot to get a good high. The next line may be referring to the cost of certain drugs. Some pills go for between $24 & $30 depending upon the market. "Plenty more mature," means that even though they cost money, the euphoria from doing drugs is priceless.

    "You're crazy sexy cool, chillin
    You play your position
You never step out of line
Even though I stay in your business
You've always kept out of mine."

"Crazy, sexy, cool, chillin," are the feelings he gets from using drugs. Here, Em literally says, "You never step out of line," which talks of the lines he snorts pills from after he has crushed them. He stays "in your business, you've always kept out of mine." Because drugs are inanimate, they can't talk to or bother him but he always knows what is going on in the drug world.

In the second verse, Eminem says:
"The whole substance to my rap.
You are my reason for being
    The meaning of my existence
    If it wasn't for you
I would never be able to spit this
As intense I do and the irony."

Being high gives Eminem the inspiration to write creative lyrics. It may also give him courage to be in the spotlight & be criticized for his harsh lyrics. As the drug addiction grows stronger, he believes he needs the drugs just to get through the day successfully.

"I don't need you as much as I really need you," is Eminem denying his addiction but not being able to keep his word. A lot of addicts are known for saying, "I can stop at any time."

"You are the Kim to my Marshall
You're the Slim to my Shady
    The Dre to my Eminem
    The Elaina to my Hailey."

These are important lines that prove that Eminem is talking about drugs. He says, "You are the Kim to my Marshall." Many think that this song is about Kim, however this line is comparing the love he has with Kim to the love he has for the object of this song. If it was about Kim, he could not be using love with Kim as a comparison to...well love with Kim.

"You let me beat the shit out you
Before you beat the shit out me."

Eminem uses & abuses the drugs right before the drugs use & abuse him. Here, he is finally admitting that the drugs are wearing away at him.

General Comment:Of course this song was dedicated to Kim, they have such a love-hate relationship, even his song Puke was dedicated to Kim.

"But you're essential to me, you're the air that I breathe" Eminem has always deeply loved Kim, there's no one else and no one he could ever dedicate such lyrics too.

General Comment:This song is about kim. In a Rolling Stones interview "The serious side of eminem" it says "he tells Kim that he hates her in "Puke" and that he still loves her in "Crazy in Love", and later in the interview, he confirms it.

General Comment:Love this song. Definitely think its about Kim. Some people don't think so cuz of these lines...

"You're the Kim to my Marshall"

I believe he has many sides to his personality and this line refers to his youth, just as Dre is his career, Slim his evil alter ego, and Hallie and Elaina the good and pure things in his life.

"The bitch who never took half, the wife that never divorced me."

This is said as tongue in cheek. I think he wrote this song when he was in a good phase with Kim. He is referring to "the bitch" she used to be.

General Comment:The lyrics to the chorus are very wrong:

[But I tell myself that I was doing alright.
There's nothing left to do tonight
but to go crazy on you. Crazy on you.
Let me go crazy, crazy on you.]

    That's what it should be.

Song Meaning:You know, this song could very well be about the rap industry...
It's very similar to Common - I Used To Love H.E.R.

Where all the metaphors, simile's and images can be interpreted and adapted to the rap industry.

    Just a thought.
