    General Comment:Sheesh you peopole are terrible. Relent K is a christian band, not some terrible group who's songs are all about girls and girlfrieds. When Relient K talks about realtionships, it's about GOD. Most of this is God speaking to someone about their resistance. "I tried to move you, but you just wouldn't budge, i tried to hold your hand, you'd rather hold your grudge.' God reaches out to you, no matter what stage you're at. Every once and a while it switches to the other person, who responds with something along the lines of 'it's your fault.'

    When I first heard this sogn I ddin't really like it. But the more I listen to it, the more it grows on me- like most of mmhmm. The album is so masterfully crafted. Ii love it.

    General Comment:I love love love this song. and i agree with a lot of you. Basically in my mind this song means that he was in love with someone but they are have relationship problems and he doesn't know what to do. because he still loves her but he just doesn't see the relationship working anymoer

    My Opinion:This song is one of my absolute favorites. I definately think it is about a relationship, but it could be about a girlfriend, or just a friend. It is very easy to relate to this song if you have ever had a bad breakup or if you have had a fight with a friend that has done something to upset you.

    General Comment:The song is about Matt Thiessen after him and Katy Perry broke up. He was upset, and so this song came into existence. Love the guy to death, he writes fantastic music.

    My Interpretation:i think this is about having a friend that refuses to accept jesus. and when you try to sve them, the get mad at you and hate you. and you get mad at them or this but you still love them. "I tried to move you, but you wouldnt budge

    Song Meaning:I deff think its about a relationship. Like- they fight alot about stuff, and all one of them does is bring up bad things instead of the good things. and they still sort of are together but they just fight sooo much that he really doesent know if its worth it. But he knows he loves her and that it will still hurt to lose her.
    Thats what i think it means :D
    Im prolly wayy off lol.

    General Comment:I agree with princess*delilah and 2bored2think. Truly a great song. I think it's about love between two people that turns bitterly violent. I think the lyrics were meant literally AND metaphorically in this song; not to mention that the title adds a level of animosity. I think people stay in crappy relationships until they realize there's nothing redeemable about "love" like that. "Which to Bury, Us Or the Hatchet" sounds like a very bad break up, where they've both changed for the worse, "What happend to us? Why didn't you stop me from turning out this way." Any type of abuse is always corrosive to a relationship and overshadows everything else, "The memories that you select, you keep the bad but the good ones you forget." And the love/hate feeling never really goes away when you've reached the end.
