Lyrics for Raising Hell as interpreted by unfinished

Raising Hell Lyrics
well my little brother's raising hell, living down in texas
he probably oughta be in jail from the stories that he tells us,
of whisky nights and rodeos, the strippers down in austin
he's had himself some real good times,
if he could just recall them

now his money's runnin out and a job's in his future,
it's lookin like his ramblin days are done
so he's sizing up his choices, and a job just aint one
he don't know which way to run

as for you, the winter aint been cold,
but that don't stop the rain
the holes up in your roof make keepin dry a losin game
the stairwell's always wet but you wouldn't really mind
if the tears would dry up in your cryin eyes

now your boy, he's coming home
but that just aint that good for you
it started ending long ago, you know that much is true
so dry your eyes and say goodbye
cause he just aint the one, decide which way to run
gonna decide which way to run

as for me, the same old shit keeps pulling me on down
never been quite able to pick myself up off the ground
always got big plans, but they're always in the works
I swear they'd pay off, if my LUCK don't give out first

This song is so great... it's about Ben's brother (obviously), and it's just a cool upbeat song about not having any plans for the future, and just kinda taking it as it comes to you, "hit the ground and run"

It's okay not to have big plans for the future, 'cause when you're young having a good time should be enough.
