the soiled ground for the sacrifice
dispelled. crippling. faulty. holyland.
i am your martyr, your stigmata
the tears turn to blood beneath my eyes.
my body listens... as you whisper
my fingers bend... as im nailed to your cross.
the splinters etch... hearts in my back
i denounce this crucifixtion, i demand another sacrifice.
a cast shadow over this narrow hill
pulling my fingers from these nails
there will be no use for a second comming

My Interpretation:this song sounds like whomever wrote it was metaphorically crucified by someone named tori. haha.

General Comment:I like the rosey red version more than the inch of gold version, but the solo from inch of gold is awesome. . . But jesus and tori kicks you in the cunt man. . . It's awesome.

General Comment:This song is about Albert Fish. I noticed this long ago when i read the lyrics.

The lyrics easily point to it being about a killer who is under the influence of a religious being in his head.

General Comment:its just rerecorded, xcalifornicationx, the song first came out on the "an inch of gold for an inch of time"EP, then it was rerecorded for the "put on your rosey red glasses" album. they also did the same with the song like a cat. they didn't like the originals and redid it to make it sound better. personally, i like the rerecorded jesus and tori, btu the original like a cat, and i think most would agree. theres not enoguh, well idk, sound i guess you could say for the rerecorded like a cat, and the original jesus and tori is just all messed up... it sounds loppy with the way speeds are all wrong and just not much is right with it... at least in my opinion.

And je suis barbant is right about the Albert Fish idea.

General Comment:Also, there's two versions of this song, and they're both awesome as hell. Same lyrics and stuff, but different styles. I like them both.

General Comment:I gotta go with je suis barbant I guess, even though I would really like to think it's about Christians taking advantage of God.

General Comment:I have a couple of ideas for what this song is about, and this one's about the craziest:

It seems like they're talking about Jesus coming off from the cross, and killing all the people who crucified him.

But I know that's definately not what it's about.

I agree with je suis barbant, though.
