Orginality is the key word here. MCR is not in it to sound like anyone else... and B12 are you really turning your back on MCR because they dont sound like your favorite band?

no, i'm turning my back on MCR cause they failed to evolve in a proggressive pattern, but instead chose to go back to being simple plan.
Although they haven't officially said anything about their new sound, but as long as it's more like Disenchanted, denial is all they're gonna get from me, they seriously couldn't give a shit less if they lost a single fan, but i'm just stating it.
So i'm impatiently waiting for the album's release.

And in case you're asking yourself, i'll always be around here, cause all the other bands' lyric pages are dead, this is the only page where you can actually get replies.

I'll also get to post more useful stuff on fresh lyrics, yet another reason to anticipate the latest album.

12 is right, lol me on the otherhand there isnt a single mcr song i dont like, but i wish i loved more of there songs, i like shut up and play but compared to the likes of hang em high, bury me in black, its no fashion statement and most of the songs on bullets it falls under the waistline, i will always be a fan but im (along with 12) just dissappointed, i listen to aiden and i just hope they get bigger than mcr because to be fair they just deserve it more, im sure thats how 12 feels about BDM aswell,

Yeah I feel the same about BDM, they should get twice the fame my chemical romance have, but if that means them being surrounded by countless "fans", then why the hell would i want that to happen to them?

I love this song. It's alot heavier than all of their other songs.
MCR should turn into a death metal band.

I love this song. Love love love. I even titled my account after it.. hah.

These lyrics are about a guy who loves a girl but can't have her, and has been driven into madness by it. He keeps calling her up when he's drunk and leaving messages on her answerphone (she won't pick the phone up) telling her he wants to kill her and see her insides..

At least that's what I think anyway.

i agree 100% i forget wich cd it was on but i remember reading on the back of one of the MCR cds and it said "to kate sorry about writing all those sings about killing you"
thats what it reminded me of.

regarding wonderyears5692's post on the second page... MCR's songs are mainly based on dark and disturbing comic books they read as kids, it's got nothing to do with them wanting to kill people themselves. IT'S CALLED INFLUENCE

Anywhoo, my favourite line in this song is "And what I'm goin through, shot lipgloss through my veins". Just has that certain twang or the way it's said comes across really well

I think this song is about a guy keeps thinking about a girl he likes, but she doesn't like him. he gets drunk every night and phones her, saying he wants to talk to her to explain how much he wants to kill her, just so he can have her

I would say this song was written when Gerard was drunk or high, its very angry & well duh he must he angry with a person, the way its written it looks like he was calling the person, the person didn't pick up & hes extreamly angry with him/her & he gets drunk and/or high, this song is nothing like My Chem's other music, to me its the most real song next to my heart.

Its bascally just an angry song, not like revenge & passes that point where he doesn't give a fuck anymore & just goes & kills him/her.

i don't care what anyone says, i love this band and will always support them. i have struggled with a couple of their songs, but i refuse to judge them based on what i think they should be and what direction i feel they should go. who the hell am i, anyway? the facts remain:
90% of their music is sheer genius. they evoke emotions within people that we didn't even know were there to begin with.
i don't agree with everything gerard sings, and i don't adore every single one of their songs.
but the fact remains, that whatever my chem song you listen to, it has one common denominator with the rest--he means it!
gerard way puts 110% into every lyric of every song, and good for him! and the rest of the band...damn the music itself can have you floating away, and just by looking at them when they perform, you can tell how therapeutic making music is for them!
i've never got that from any other band. there is something special about mcr, and i am very thankful that i discovered them.

Great song, probably my third favorite from My Chem [the first being Drowning Lessons and the second being The Jetset Life Is Gonna Kill You]. I'd really like to find the demo version that xxxdaniellexxx mentioned; I downloaded it from 'The Immortality Project' but I can't find the lyrics.
By the way. 'GeraldWayObsessed', if you're obsessed, why did you spell Gerard's name with a 'd'?
-cough- Anyway.
I think this song is about being wasted all the time, like Gerard was when this was probably recorded, and depressed and suicidal and shit. [Rumor has it that Mikey actually wrote this song before his brother went into rehab, but I don't know if it's true, so don't jump my ass if you don't think it is.]

This is another song about his drinking problems that he's dealt with. Whilst drunk he wants to kill someone so he rings them up to tell them.

Yeah... this is the best of mcr's latest songs. sounds great and it's rather short... that's cool. should make more stuff like that!!! the lyrics are kind of morbid (like many of mcr's^^), but i like them.

The bit where he screams "PICK UP THE PHONE FUCKER!!!" is my ringtone. Srsly. That whole bit is definitely a reference to the Scream movies. "I wanna see what your insides look like" is a direct quote from the movie.

Good song, but I don't see how everybody has such big problems finding/downloading it. I just found it on Limewire. I have both Three Cheers and The Black Parade, so don't worry I don't only download. And so you know, I'm VERY very happy with both of them.

This may be a little hard to understand, but I can easily feel how incredible much more My Chem means to me than all the other bands I have been listening to. My taste of music has developed from when I started loving it with Coldplay, but my travel has ended here. I just ain't looking for new music anymore! Ok almost not. My Chem is an amazing band, and by far my favourite one. I can never pick a favourite out of their songs.

I miss songs like this.
Its pure amazing. Its probably my fave my chem song. It makes me chuckle how other erm how should we put it... "crappy pop" my chem (sorry MCR) songs like Black Parade have 400 and whatever comments. Guess it goes to show you what kind fans they now have.
My Chem used to be emo/post-hardcore (pratically the same genre). Now they are some really shit pop/rock hybrid.
I wish I could go back to 04 and see them again just before they got huge. I liked the sweet ignorance back then and now i would saviour the beauty of the times with new pride.
