All of us believe
That this is not up to you
The fact of the matter is
That it's up to me

Hey, Hey, Hey
Hey, Hey, Hey
Let's Go

How can we fake this anymore
To turn our backs away, and chose to just ignore
(Some say) Some say it's ignorance
It makes 'em feel some innocent
It takes away a part of me
That I won't let go of

[Chorus]
Tell me why can't you see, it's not the way
When we all fall down, it won't be too late
Why is there no reason we can't change
When we all fall down, who will take the blame
Will it take

Nothing could ever be this real
A life unsatisfied, that I could never feel
(Some Say)This future's not so bright
Some can't make the sacrifice
It's much more than just black and white
And I won't follow

[Chorus]

Times like these I've come to see how,
Everything but time is running out

Hey, Hey, Hey
Hey, Hey, Hey
What

All of us believe
In what we need
What we have's what we don't see

[Chorus]

Tell me why can't you see, it's not the way
(so how long, has this gone, i don't see this ending)
When we all fall down, it won't be too late
(it's too late, we can't change, what has now begun)
Why is there no reason we can't change
(we have time, it's not right, why are we pretending)
When we all fall down, who will take the blame
(we fit along, for so long)
Will it take
(We knew this all along)

General Comment:I think this song has more than one meaning.
RAMD, I think you have a small point. During the time "Ware Wolves" was being reported, the people would get high and hallucinate. They would believe what they saw. We have big houses that we don't need. We have expensive video games, whats wrong with dirt?

The song might be about war. "When we all fall down," we'll keep dropping bombs on each other until the world is destroyed, "it'll be too late," when we see what we've done and stop dropping bombs, there'll be nothing left on earth.

We might destroy all the trees keeping us alive and by time we stop doing that, we'll be dead.

General Comment:i made this account just to say this:

so i was really high and listening to this song when i realised that the lyrics "All of us believe in what we need What we have's what we don't see"

shouldn't that be: All of us believe in what we see
What we have's what we don't need ?

i dont know like i said im really baked
just thought i should throw that out there

General Comment:i did enjoy this song, until i found out the intro is COMPLETELY ripped off from a song We Just Don't Believe by Morning Glory. it was an old demo they did. the riff and drums, right down to how the vocals come in with the "heys" is taken from the Morning Glory song.

General Comment:The thing I love about Sum 41 is they could care less what people want to hear, they just make the music that they want to. They used to be popular, when they had a more poppish sound, but they wanted to rock harder, and they did, even if that meant less popularity and not being played on the radio anymore. Now they have a message, a much better one than in their old albums, and different sound, one that's not as mainstream as it once was. And they don't care if people hate them for it, because they'll just keep doing what they want to do, and I give them props for that.

General Comment:The album "Chuck" was written after Sum 41 went to the Congo to help document the civil war that was going on there. A hotel they were in got bombed, and a UN peacekeeper nicknamed Chuck called armored vans to rescue them.
The song, at least what i think, is about people doing bad things and knowing it, but doing it anyway for no reason. i think the chorus is about war. i.e. "when we all fall down (die) who will take the blame?" To quote the second of the new batman movies: "some people dont do things for a reason. some people just want to watch the world burn."
i think its also about people hiding things that are happening, and also about diminishing the seriousness of things that are happening, and ignoring the truth because its such a bloody thing. "how can we fake this anymore? to turn our backs away and choose to just ignore."
thats what i think. love sum 41; one of my favorite bands! this song rocks!

General Comment:I get the impression its about the Cold War. if you bought the album the cover art says why. Im pretty sure thats the main reason. with a bit of humanity is going down hill thrown in but a really good song none the less.

General Comment:this is about taking action... there are so many problems out there that we need to solve. everyone is just sitting around doing nothing about it. when we all "fall down" it will be "too late"

General Comment:This is easily the best of Sum 41's songs. Ever since I started hearing music, no other song has been able to beat this song for me, not even Story of the Year's "Pay Your Enemy."
