i think that it kind of originated from a concert when steve just randomly started singing crosby stills nash and young to the tune of the song or maybe in the background or something...its cool

Dude its just BNL carrying the spirit of the holidays in a crazy way like they always do and at the same time its a tribute to Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Youg.

This song reminds me of the concert in Las Vegas, I went to. At the end of "Some Fantastic" they started singing "Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young." After the song was over they said that only five people thought that that was funny and they were all onstage. I think BNL did this song to let the fans in on the joke. That makes this song hilarious.
