Oh, my baby, when you're older
Maybe then you'll understand
You have angels that dance around your shoulders
'Cause at times in life you need a loving hand

Oh, my baby, when you're prayin'
Leave your burden by my door
You have Jesus standing by your bedside
To keep you calm, keep you safe,
Away from harm

Worry not my daughters,
Worry not my sons
Child, when life don't seem worth livin'
Come to Jesus and let Him hold you in His arms

Oh, my baby, when you're cryin'
Never hide your face from me
I have conquered hell and driven out the demons
I have come with a life to set you free

Worry not my daughers,
Worry not my sons
Child, when life don't seem worth livin'
Come to Jesus and let Him hold you in His arms

Oh, oh
Oh, oh
Yeah, yeah, yeah

Oh, my baby, when you're dying
Believe the healing of His hand
Here in Heaven we will wait for your arrival
Here in Heaven you will finally understand
Here in Heaven we will wait for your arrival
Here in Heaven you will finally understand

Worry not my daughters,
Worry not my sons
Child, when life don't seem worth livin'
Come to Jesus and let Him hold you in His arms

wen me n my dad went seein john prine mindy was suportin him n wed neva heard of her n fort she wsa just amazin bt now shes growin in fame n poppin up everywhere. im glad coz i fink its wot she truly deserves.
before she sang dis song she introduced herself saying a little about her background and then told us about the death of her mother and how it inspired her to write this song and sum others. knowing the story behind this song, seeing her perform it was even more touching.

General Comment:Awesome song. The teachings of Christianity ARE therapy and comfort. It's the belief that there's a plan for your life, that your suffering is not in vain, and that someone cares about you, that you are forgiven.

And ultimately, when you die, you'll be in a better place.

A very pretty song that expresses a lot of those things---from the amazing voice of Mindy Smith.

General Comment:Jesus isnt therapy but his teachings and what he stood for are. im not trying to convert anyone here but I being a christian feel that this song is her proclamation of faith and trust in God and telling her children that they can always trust in God and Jesus

General Comment:JESUS = THERAPY! That's the pitch that evangelicals should use in order to save souls...Jesus is therapy for the troubled and the alone.

General Comment:I'm not even religious, but this song is beautiful. It must be nice to have something to believe in when you're feeling alone and troubled.
