    General Comment:I was thinking that maybe with the "technical knock out" definition, it's about "winning" an argument by being good at arguing as opposed to actually having the truth on your side.

    General Comment:I'm fairly certain that this song is not about violence in the media. I think it is a straightforward brag song about the greatness of Le Tigre.

    Though I do think the "tiny notebook" is definitely about a music journalist.

    and how "taking over the dance floor" is kinda a metaphor?

    I think I'm reading too much into the song, which is sad cos I wanna put it in my anthropology assignment..... but the video is full of great stuff for that if the lyrics aren't.

    yes, its a boxing reference but not so literal. meaning, "we're so good we knock you out"

    General Comment:i really love this song. it was also my first! and i saw them last night!!!!! they were soooo awesome! and kathleen's explanation of the song:

    "this song is about taking over the dance floor" and i also agree with reizvoll about the double meaning.

    at the concert, everyone screamed the words at the top of their lungs. it was amazing.
