Maybe this song is just to be determined by one's own will...as if it may be about sex and taking one's virginity or it may be about how one guy love's a girl and gets hurt by her and still loves her but hates her at the same time...
quite a tough song to figure out
and "love me gently with a chainsaw" is an oxymoron. Because, well, you cant be gentle with a chainsaw. So maybe he's saying that their relationship was rocky..idk..just a thought or something. This is definately something to just sit and think about...

You and your friends are SO cutting edge.
I truly think this song is just about a girl who had anything she could ever hope for, but she wasn't satisfied. She had to pretend like her life was so awful, and made up problems so that she could be unhappy with whoever she was with, and whatever she was doing. No matter how much he tried to make her happy, she would blow everyhthing out of proportion, make him the bad guy, and be unhappy. And this is Buddy finally getting fed up with it and just saying, "Well, fuck you then. Go be unhappy, but don't drag me down." Or at least that's how I interpret this.
Then there are lines that make me agree with bullets&love. I just don't know...
