The Unseen – Scream Out

  General Comment:The sad thing about Street is, the music actually isn't half bad, but the lyrics usually sound like a 13-year-old poser came up with them. I read somewhere The Unseen were "inspired" by band like Bad Religion, but that has got to be a joke, really.

  General Comment:why do people fight so much about fucking music?? Im a punk kid at heart who stopped dressing lik a "street punk" because to many of todays punks are fucking nazis. to many of my "fellow" punks tried to get me to listen to wat they wantd. so i said fuck it! i am a kid who dresses however the fuck i want and ya i do listen to mix tapes that has minor threat AND some rap! isnt punk just about freedom? anyone who tries to make restrictions on a style (such as punk, or metal-head, or even scene) need to grow up. does it matter if someone has a mohawk (which i had) or a fucking average run of the mill hair cut. any TRUE punk wouldnt give a fuck! punk is about rebellion, any one who says anything else is jut a nazi. POINT IN CASE: in one song the casualties talk about killing hippies, in other they are tellin people to get off their backs? most punks are fucking hipocrites and the same could be said for anyone.

  they dress the same. they have no deep meanings in any of their songs. do you see acts like Bad Religion, Dead Kennedys, Black Flag, Adicts, ect. spending hours on their appearance? No...funny thing is, they actually have talent as well.
  
  the hippie thing. i never said i liked hippies, but theres no reason to attack them for no reason. discrimination like that is nazism, and im sure you're very much against that.
  
  i would LOVE to pick up where they left off..sadly not many people are into punk anymore, its hard to form a band.

    thank you i was waiting for someone to menton that album. i didnt hear it for a few years and had only heard new unseen and i just wrote em off. believe it or not, they sounded great at some point!
    
    but to be completely honest, i do like this song. but i also agree with the up front lyrics. make the listener think..when i write i dont just spoon feed what i mean. its all about preference.
    theres so much more going on in punk right now. government warning, ecoli, direct control, deepsleep, cloak/dagger..
    dont get stuck in the 90's genre of punk..theres new shit out and about but only 4% of the punks care to keep it going.
    im not poking fun at anyone, im just sayin, minor threat and the unseen dont have to be the only bands you like!
