  General Comment:modern romance, as in love doesn't exist anymore; or at least it sure as hell isn't what it used to be. people cheat, people lie, people leave, more so now than before; our lives spin on at four thousand miles an hour, and making the commitment to love somebody is nothing more than a fleeting interest at best. we're all doomed.

  General Comment:TV on the Radio definitely does an awesome cover of this song, they make it almost sound like the Yeah Yeah Yeahs are covering them. This is a sublime track though. A+++

  General Comment:It is a sad song. But i love it, Karen O has such a beautiful voice.
  It's about a relationship ending, and she realizes that it's just like any relationship sbe's been in.
  At first it's all exciting and fun and she loves it, but in the end it's just another relationship gone wrong.

  General Comment:i think this song is telling people who are stuck on their first love or someone they loved not to fool themselves since "there is no modern romance". This song is about how she fooled herself into thinking it could be real love or it could last but she realizes she was wrong and simply accepts it. ...I haven't learned to do that lol and holding on just makes you weaker so you have to "go get strong". Anyway I love this song. She's right though, there is no modern romance...
