i want a john cusack. seriously, i think that line is so sweet. john cusack = wonderfully, honestly sweet, and so to tell somebody you'll be theirs....its just really really sweet i think.

yeah, one of john cusacks more well known movies i guess, but to me these lyrics fit in with Serendipity, another of john cusacks movies. eowyg rules the world. : )

This is one of the few songs they enjoyed playing live, becasue it didn't suck like most of FOBEOWYGF ( I hate typing that). I love this song, and I can see how it would be about Say Anything..., which is an amazing movie. I love this song. And I'm sooo friggin happy that they are playing it on BC&U!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That was my anthem for the beginning of the year. We went to chicago for a class trip, (took forever to fund=raise for) but anyways, there was this dinner cruise and i fell weak at my knees when she stood there, and the moonlight did hit her bright eyes.

But anyways, i believe this song is about this girl that this guy can't get out of his head, and he's basically debating on whether he likes her or not. So classic... but FOB makes it new again.

Umm I always thouht that this song was from the movie anastia. Anyone else agree? I mean they way he uses her but then finds out he really does love her in the end.

that line is most definately about Lloyd Dobbler (John Cusack) In Say Anything, obviously because Lloyd was the charming gentleman every girl (secretly or openly) wants.
Say Anything is an amazing film, the 'boombox scene' is brilliant, I recommend, definately.

You know why there aren't more comments on this song?

Because this is BEFORE the bandwagon. True FOB fans right here.

There's a reason why "Sugar we're going down" and "dance, dance" have like 10 pages worth of crap.

FOB has been great since day one. People seemed to have picked up on them AFTER TTTYG.

I love this song sooo much!!!! It's my fav from FOB!!!! "When the moonlight hits your bright eyes I go blind" Man that line is so amasing... "i said I hate you but I'd never change a thing" that is soo deep.... In short, the whole song is amasing... And you're right about the comments... I mean after the TTTYG fans probably don't even know this song exists!!!!

this song is honestly one of my favorite songs by them. pretty obvious what it's about, so I won't bother picking it apart.

I'm probably one of the few people that thinks EOWYG is one of the best albums they've done.

I love this song to pieces. I'm singing 45 seconds of it for auditions, because it's the best song I can both sing and play at the same time.

I agree, meaning is obvious. But I absolutely adore it.
