    My Opinion:I think people are reading too deeply into these lyrics. He's just saying that he has a girl that he's madly in love with and every time he has to leave to go to work he's pissed because he'd rather be home with her (and his job sucks).

    General Comment:i think it's about the guy being depressed and his life not really going anywhere and him realizing how much she means to him and wanting to be with her. he says "i wont even put up a fight" as if he usually does, he won;t he just wants her back and will do anything.

    General Comment:To me, it's about depression and desperation. Sam is depressed and has given up totally, and he tries to make her understand there are things worth living for. Him, for example. He talks about how they met, and he tells her how he feels. He'd do anything to make her see it's worth it.
