Gaze into her killing jar
I'd sometimes stare for hours.
She even poked the holes so I can breathe.

She bought the last line.
I'm just the worst kind.
Of guy to argue.
With what you might find.
And for the last night I lie.
Could I lie with you?

Alright...
Give up. Get down.
Its just the hardest part of living.
She wants. It all to come down this time.

Lost in the prescription she's got something else in mind.
Check into the Hotel Bella Muerte.

It gives the weak flight.
It gives the blind sight.
Until the cops come.
Or by the last light.
And for the last night I lie.
Could I lie next to you?

Alright...
Give up. Get down.
Its just the hardest part of living.
She wants. It all to come down this time.

Pull the plug.
But I'd like to learn your name.
And holding on.
Well I hope you do the same.
Awww sugar.
Slip into this tragedy you've spun this chamber dry.

Alright...
Give up. Get down.
Its just the hardest part of living.
She wants. It all to come down this time.

Pull the plug.
But I'd like to learn your name.
And holding on.
Well I hope you do the same.
Awww sugar.

General Comment:I think this song is about love. I think it's a guy who has fallen in love and the woman is slowly killing him inside...

    "Gaze into her killing jar
    I'd sometimes stare for hours.
She even poked the holes so I can breathe." This is saying that the girlfriends has a killing jar which is meant to be the place where all her previous boyfriends have gone, where she puts them and slowly strips them of their will to live... and he's currently in there.

    "She bought the last line.
    I'm just the worst kind.
    Of guy to argue.
With what you might find." This is saying that he just agrees with whatever she says (she's taking away his spirit) But he's lying about everything he says and she is believing him...he doesn't want to argue...

"And for the last night I lie.
Could I lie with you?" This is saying that even though she's killing him, he still loves her.

    "Alright...
    Give up. Get down.
Its just the hardest part of living.
She wants. It all to come down this time." This is saying that he has given up trying to not fall in love with her...that love is the hardest part of living...that she is driving him crazy.

    "It gives the weak flight.
    It gives the blind sight.
Until the cops come." This is saying that love makes people blind and weak, that they can't see what is right in front of their eyes until the cops come.

    "Pull the plug.
But I'd like to learn your name.
    And holding on.
Well I hope you do the same.
    Awww sugar.
Slip into this tragedy you've spun this chamber dry." This is saying again that he's given in and is falling in love with her, but he's holding on for his life and hopes that she does the same...

General Comment:its obviously about drugs, but i think its about speedballs, not meth... the cocaine part gives you psychosis and then all you want to do is "come down" and feel normal again, and thats what the heroin does to you. so "she wants it all to come down." means to me. the rest of the song is pretty much what everyone else is talking about.

General Comment:I think that this album isnt entirely concept.Yes, most of it is, but some songs dont fit in. All these people suggesting the person kills a women in every song, disgusts me, because that's like saying Gerard kills his grandma "Helena" was written about her death hurting and effecting people, him too, I dont think it means he killed her. I mean even if he wanted to write a concept, would you REALLY write about killing your grandma? I mean, that death effected him, would he really want to even THINK he caused her death? Especially the one who taught you your career? no. I think Helena was simply a tribute. And the ghost of you was definently a war song, not murder.

But getting back to this song, i think that it's about a couple, who hardly know eachother, but they're always high and do dangerous, illegal things and they think they're in love, because they're under the influence. Gerard sees this girl suffering, and he tries to quit his addiction, and he remembers his oath and watches this girl die. But one day he's high too, and they get arrested, they're in a hospital, Gerard turns out fine, but he still needs to hold on, but the girl he sort of likes is dieing, she's telling him to please let her die, and he wants her to die (1000 bodies must die) , but also wants her to live, so he tells her to hold on for now. But i think she dies.

General Comment:When I listen to this song, I imagine MCR playing in like a hotel room. And there's this girl on the bed and she looks like she's in pain. And there's not much light in the room. It's like... a blue colour, kind of like in Vampires Will Never Hurt YOu and the only light is from the window and you can see like these police lights and everything going past. Then MCR starts playing and then these cops comme running through the hotel like crazy. And Gerard's singing in front of these twisting mirrors and it's awesome. Then at the end the cops find the girl, but she's dead, and a cop goes, "Aww... sugar."

General Comment:another song about his dangerous lifestyle the first few years he was in the band and maybe before the band. sex, drugs and rock and roll. it's about a one nighter. i agree with chino69's meaning of vampires. people with no lives who latch on to others who are successful in order to live. leeches or vampires.
