this song is my favorite off of the whole three cheers for sweet revenge cd. i dont exactly understand the words...but maybe thats why i like it. its homosexual? oh well...i heard also that the two kisst...sweet....gerards hot and so is bert. anyways....i like berts laugh in this song...its cute. and hot. lol. ok no i think i understand the part where its like 'i wont go down by myself but ill go down with my friends. take it like a man' the last five words kinna explain. but whatever who cares this song is awesome and thats all that matters.

My favorite song on this CD! It's awesome, and I too, dont understand words. But it's awesome. And that makeout session sounds...delicious ^^ mmm....sexay. ^^. Gerard is extremely gorgeous, though everyone I know begs to differ. Erf. Bert isnt bad looking either...^^

As hard as it is to relate to this song, I can't help but love it. Honestly, it's addictive. I've listened to this song over and over for at least an hour before. I just love it. And Gerard and Bert are both freaking hott, lol.

Okay, am I the only one who thinks that this song is about Gay prison rape? Its kind of obvious, with lines such as "to your room
what they ask of you" (Implying that whoever is raping him is telling him what to do and if he doesn't do it, they hurt him) and "take it like a man" so yeah. But if Gerard really did write it about Bert and himself...mmm, sexay! LETS HAVE A 3-SOME! okay, spaz out. i'm done

this first few lines of the songs seem to be a reference to a john woo movie. particularly the film HARD BOILED, where the theres a gunfight in a restaurant holding guns held up high with both arms. the doves are also a trademark of the director which he uses in just about every one of his action movies. theres also a quote in the movie used saying "give him one gun hes superman, give him two and hes god"...in the song by my chemical romance theres something similar in response "how we're just two men as god had made us"
well anyway thats what i got from hearing this song.

I read in an interview that this song was about being on tour and living with 15 other people and losing your indentity.Also the part about doing pushups in drag is true,haha.

The song definitely has some homosexuality in it, I read that on a site somewhere when they reviewed it. It's a funny song though. It's also funny how everyone in here seems more excited about Bert and Gerard making out.

I'm not sure why there's so much discussion about what this song is about. I mean the band has said it. Go to yahoo launch and listen to the interview and Gerard even says that the song is about prison rape. And if you listen to this song on the myspace site Gerard says again that "this song is about getting sodomized in jail...if you guys are into that".

What I love about this song is that even though it's really a very dark song about what can go on in jail it's horribly catchy and sounds super upbeat. And the part at the end with "Take it like a man" and then the screaming and Bert's giggle is just awesome.

And yes the thought of Bert and Gerard making out is awesome but please stop talking about it here. That's not what this site is for.

then the secnod verse is undeniably about being in jail.

hi...i have a few very random points and questions.lol.here they are...
k first part is, in a song i heard, (helena(live in concert) at the end of the song gerard made a speech about homosexuality which went a little like this...some of you might know bands, who play in your home town or are playing here tongiht, who think homosexuality is wrong, but they still think its fucking funny, well its not fucking funny, to be differnet from your neibours or the person standing next to you, so if you hear someone talking shit like that, you turn and stick up your middle finger to that mother fucker! lol it was awesome... I LOVE GERARD!!!:'(, which brings me to my next point, lol, i love how everybody is like, GERARD this and GERARD that, but no body knows the rest of the bands name, well u know...that might not be true, but i love how every body is alwyas talking about gerard, lol hes fucking hot. another thing i wanted to say is, someone said a totally insane point about the part where its like, 'with their hands held up high', they said something totally wierd, im not saying there wrong, but i do believe that in saying this they mean like when the cops come to get you and they say 'put your hands up'...? maybe...maybe not...lol...oh yah, what does 'in drag' mean? some one said it above but i have no clue whatsoeverlol hahaha...thnxs

first of all i LOVE this song but the only singing by burt anyone mentioned was "do you have the keys to the hotel?" ...if you listen you can hear him singing backup through most of the song ... just mentioning ...also i've been doing a bit of research and gerard is deffinately atleast bisexual but im beginning to believe hes strait up gay lol if ne body is sure 1 way or another tell me somehow pls cus its botherring me lol thnx
