Shapes of things before my eyes,
Just help me to despise.
Will time make men more wise?

Here, within my lonely frame,
My eyes just hurt my brain.
Will time make men more sane?

Come tomorrow, will I be older?
Come tomorrow, maybe a soldier, (Now listen)
Come tomorrow, maybe I'm older than today.

(Listen to this)
Here within my lonely frame,
My eyes just hurt my goddarn brain.
Will time make men more sane?

General Comment:...True-that, up there. He is the most unpopular, under-rated guitar ICON in the business, (& Eric Johnson...maybe even Steve Morse?).

General Comment:I like this version of the song, but I like the Yardbirds' version more...still Truth is one of my favorite albums of all time so that's gotta count for something. It also includes my favorite work by Rod Stewart, but Jeff Beck is where it's at. Amazing guitarist...

General Comment:It's amazing! I'm the first person to comment of Jeff Beck. I was the first on this site to make myself a fan of him. Jeff Beck is a great artist, great guitarest. It's amazing that true talent is so underappeciated, while all the crap they call "music" out today is the most popular stuff. It's a shame for true rock and roll.
