Nothing to see, nothing to hear
Nothing to be, nothing to fear
Nothing to prove, nothing to say
Nothing to lose, nothing to gain
Nothing to feel, nothing to hate
Nothing is real, it's all too late
What do you do when nothing's wrong
Ain't got a clue, I ain't got no song

Yeah I'm foamin' at the mouth
Yeah I'm mad without a doubt
Cus I'm really freakin' out
And I'm goin' out of my mind
TV got me goin' blind
And I'm really freakin' out

Yeah man you think you got it made
Groovin' your stink on your Fender bass
Got on your aviator shades
Yeah man you're looking really ace
But what the hell you doin' here
Fillin' the space between my ears
Why don't you all just disappear
The price of your friendship's way too dear

Nothing to see, nothing to hear
Bithing to be, nothing to fear
Nothing to prove, nothing to say
La la la la la la la lay

General Comment:Unlike what Azraeldrah said, I believe that this song simply states the uncertainty that comes with living. It poses the question: "why am I here?" Thus, Graham shows his thoughts when this phase inherent to all humans comes about.

General Comment:Coxon is better than Blur. It'll be interesting to see if they get back together this year. This track rocks and is like a double shot of espresso.

    woo. love that bit.

anyway. I think he's just saying that all these fake indie bands that are paraded or rather the indie bands that are just a haircut are laughable, wasting their own good time and have got nothing..

General Comment:Ramagamma, graham isnt trying to be bigger than blur, he left because he didnt want to write 'another parklife'. Anyway onto the meaning of this song.

The pop-punk guitars are meant as a kind of irony, he's writing a mainstreamish style song as a semi attack on mainstream music.
"nothin to loose nothing to gain" can be seen as a statement about young bands, they've come from nothing but in the end theyll have nothing. It can also be seen as a reference to his solo career. He's got nothin to loose from it and he knows that he wont acheive his former level of stardom.

"the price of friendship is way too dear" could be a reference to blur, but i doubt it. Its hard to find true friends in the music industry, i think thats what this line was refering to.

Its a semi warning to other musicians.

thats what it means to me.
