    General Comment:Was the first song completed for the album and was also the first song written after the EP
    was written and recorded. Kurt wrote the riffs in his lounge room and originally had a vocal
    free first chorus but this soon changed when Clint's finalised chorus was added. With input from
    exterior influences the band decided to halve the middle section of this song
    (the live version is the original length). The first and only time this occurred on the album.
    Kurt played around with several ideas for the middle section and then Ben brought the 16th
    note splash idea he'd had to one of the ideas Kurt had and that made it final. (This was the
    second time 'Crave' was mixed, initially by Kalju Tonuma for the single.
    There are some notable differences between the two mixes if you listen closely). Lyrically, Clint is describing
    the point where want become's need, control is lost and love becomes hate"
