    General Comment:i think this song is about the night before christmas, or christmas eve rather, and the strange excitement you get on christmas eve, even if you aren't a child. i know i do.

    General Comment:it's a little hard to distinguish when sung, but the lyrics as written in the cd insert are actually "when the feeling _isn't_ right." maybe a little pedantic, but it adds an ironic twist.
