1. It’s being in love with your ex and you guys still hang out, or at least socialize, but she/he is trying to make you jealous by making out with someone else while you’re looking, which is why he says "You´re like an infantile" he thinks she is childish in doing what she does but still says "Your scream is running through my veins" which means he still cares for her, and as the song goes the lyrics change from throw your life away (she´s wasting her time), throw my life away (she’s hurting him) and finally throw our life away (meaning she is destroying, the relationship they have now and possibly ruin any hopes of them getting back together). Of course this interpretation comes from seeing the music video
2. It’s about being in a relationship with a drug user and/or being a drug user. The lyric in the bridge read “Just call my name, you’ll be ok, your scream is running through my veins” assuming of course, that we take line “through my veins” more literally. The singer is in love or is a friend with someone doing heroin, as well him being user himself but trying to get away from it which is read in the first 2 lines “I want a normal life, just like a new born child.” He wants to start over but he friend is a bad influence, or an “oversight” as he says but the lyrics state he himself is an oversight asking himself “Why am I so pathetic?” Which means he keeps succumbing to his addiction, and as the song goes, the lyrics change from throw your life away (his drug addicted friend), throw my life away (he is relapsing and falling into drugs again) throw our life away (they’re wasting their lifes on drugs ).
It starts off with a an introspection from God's perspective, probably fed up with the most recent human prayers containing lists of self pitying complaints: "I want a normal life, just like a new born child" - the normal, comparatively easy life we all have by birth "I am a lover hater" - God both loves us and hates some of the things we do - "I am an instigator (initiator)" - for God instigated everything.
Then the comparison turns more overt: "You are an oversight" - for we are all oversights by comparison "Don't try to compromise" - don't try to compromise on the way you are supposed to live your life "I'll learn to love to hate it" - since God cannot love the wrong actions many people take in modern society, he is sarcastically saying, it's all right, I'll learn to love the hatred of your actions, which is the only thing you really give me a chance to love - "I am not integrated" - I am not integrated into your social group, your culture, etc. so as to overlook or excuse as your friends might.
"Just call my name, You'll be ok" - a call for a return to morality "Your scream is burning through my veins" - God sympathizes with the tortured scream from both our afterlife (possibly in hell), and our current spiritual torture, that shines through the facade we put up for others.
"Sooner or later, You're gonna hate it" - this fake, secular life you lead "Go ahead and throw your life away" - go ahead and waste your time on earth on things that are not worth it, essentially throwing your life away "Driving me under, Leaving me out there" - driving me under on your list of priorities, leaving me out there - out of your life "Go ahead and throw your life away"
"You're like an infantile, I knew it all the while, You sit and try to play me, Just like you see on TV" - this is pretty overt, God resents the way that we sit there and pray for forgiveness but then go around and continue to sin hypocritically; then we also pray for relief from pain all the while avoiding sincere effort - and God resents us trying to play him just like a lawyer would on TV "I am an oversight, Just like a parasite, Why am I so pathetic, I know you wont forget it" - he also resents being put on the back burner, like an oversight, being derided as uncool like a parasite, and the mockery of a decently lived life as "pathetic" or weak - for idealists or losers...he reminds us that we won't forget it in the end.

Having a career in music requires a lot of sacrifice(in relationships etc) and is everything but normal. He wants a less stressful life, like that of a newborn, nothing is expected of them. He may make a lot of sacrifices in his intimate relationships for the better of the band and music that would appear like he is turning down love...being a "lover hater" which (the person) could have accused him of. He being an instigator maybe due to his strong devotion to music leading him to be confrontational or egg on arguments because he would willingly sacrifice smooth sailing in a relationship in exchange for success in music.

She expect him to make impossible compromises with his career for the relationship but she is an exception to this rule (oversite). She refuse to meet him half way in this. its like: keep blaming me, OH but don't you worry i'll suck it up and I'll learn to love to hate the fact im the one always being put out. He isn't integrated as in he isn't capable of coordinating the high demands of his music career with her demands on the relationship so they work harmoniously. He cant do it himself.
she may not be asking too much of a typical relationship but this is no typical relationship. so it maybe too much for THEM.

I think this is interesting. it appears as though they are both wanting to make this work... maybe she feels the relationship slipping away and she's at her wits end her screams are her last ditch effort. On his end he always wants to be there when needed to say everything's okay comfort her but the desperate please are killing him...think something burning through your veins..a DESIRE. He wants so badly to be there to comfort her. help her out. help THEM out but he's torn because he is committed to music. He loves his music. How do you choose??? Its not fair to make someone choose like that!

The relationship keeps rebounding because neither has let go. Outwardly she may say she's okay with what he is doing, perusing his music. He knows that she won't be able to handle it, her actions confirm it. She won't want to compromise the pace of the relationships progression for the sake of its survival... whether its Sooner or later you're not going to be okay with it. you're going to hate me, the relationship and everything for what you're giving up for us.

She's immature and he knew it all along. its obvious through the little games she plays. TESTING him make him go the extra mile..see if he's serious. What makes her actions even more immature is what he has made clear the situation they have throughout the whole song... there is A LOT on the line here.

The truth comes out. He has been frustrated and pointing out all the bad in her... but here he is admitting he is the error the mistake in her plan. Like a parasite he is taking her life with him because HE NEEDS HER. She is essentially the host.

He's frustrated. He is reliant on her and its pathetic. He knows she will NEVER forget this.. he can threaten, talk tough but he'll come crawling back. its pitiful. He knows he will never hear the end of it. she will push him to the limit and dangle this over his head.
This next part is like a dare. him challenging both her and himself... to make the jump.

by perusing music that is what he's doing, especially if this is what pushes her to eventually leave him. He will lose the thing he NEEDS, the closest thing to "a normal life" that he has.

*Telling her by not working/ trying harder to make the compromises to hang in there and just giving up on a great thing would be throwing HIS and BOTH of their lives away as well.

This is ridiculously hard for him. Her refusal to compromise which leads to him choosing between two things he cares about most is driving him under. He's left out there because he puts himself out to try and make it work but she doesn't meet him halfway. He keeps having to go the extra mile and its wearing on him.(kind of cocky though... it feels like reverse psychology like he knows she won't let go they've invested so much but may be instilling some fear in her will make her try EVEN HARDER, which is what he needs.)
They are at a crossroads there must be a compromise and if there isn't any give from him(which he has made clear he's done all he can) or her then its doomed. he dares himself to choose music and dares her to give up like...OKAY FINE do it i dare you throw it all away (to both of them). He may make actions that would cause the end but SHE needs to officially call it off. He won't.
