One wore white
The other dressed in red
One invincible
The other fell down and bled
One to touch your face
The other to wipe the sweat
One to know your name
The other not just yet
One day calm broke the silence and I heard my voice in the audience
And it said "Look at my face."
One day calm broke the silence
I wear my nerves on the outside and
Hide them under my
There's no one out there, I know
Her eyes were gleaming in ah
And I'm still breathing on my own
But thoughts are leaving one by one
One stood by
While the other came and went
The other flew away
So she wouldn't fall out again
One to let you know
The other to make you wait
Worlds across the fence and they're traveled every day.
The other dressed in red
One invincible
The other fell down and bled
One to touch your face
The other to wipe the sweat
One to know your name
The other not just yet
One day calm broke the silence and I heard my voice in the audience
And it said "Look at my face."
One day calm broke the silence
I wear my nerves on the outside and
Hide them under my
There's no one out there, I know
Her eyes were gleaming in ah
And I'm still breathing on my own
But thoughts are leaving one by one
One stood by
While the other came and went
The other flew away
So she wouldn't fall out again
One to let you know
The other to make you wait
Worlds across the fence and they're traveled every day.

Maybe he meant it this way, when you look at the verses he goes back and forth signing of opposites, which could be the in/out referance. The Jupiter part is noticable during the chorus when he sings about her eyes.
Okay, this song uses a double metaphor. Her eyes were gleaming like iO is talking about the planet iO and its bright surface, while the rest of it is about greek mythology.
iO was a maiden who was loved by zeus, so Hera turned her into a cow.
Io is the name one of the four Galilean moons orbiting Jupiter. It's also the most volcanically active object in the solar system..
Well, the only reason I thought this was relevant was because Jupiter is also mentioned in the song Iconoclast.
i guess IO is just -i owe-
Aannyyyway, I have no idea what to think about this song. I just chose to rant here because this is my favorite Brazil song. =)
