Tonight, we fly away so high.
Our first full moon sky.

I'll breathe you in,
I won't let you down,
I won't hold your back,
I won't make a sound.

I know what scared you the most.

Being Alone,
Just like them,
Being Alive,
Feeling so... DEAD.

I wrap you around my... HEART.
You know you shine so bright.

Like a single Silver Bullet,
Shot right through my heart.
To prove I can survive,
Without you.
Got a single Silver Bullet,
Shot right through my heart.
To prove I can survive,
Without you.

Can you sleep at night,
If I hold you tight.
I won't let you go,
It feels so right.

Please don't leave this... TIME.

I wrap you around my... HEART.
You know you shine sooo bright.

Like a single Silver Bullet,
Shot right through my heart.
To prove I can survive,
Without you.
Got a single Silver Bullet,
Shot right through my heart.
To prove I can survive,
Without you.

Tonight, we fly away so high,
Tonight, We fly away.
You know the moon is full and,
I can't live without you.

Tonight we'll fly away
(Got a single silver bullet)
Tonight we'll fly
(Got a Single Silver Bullet)

Like a single Silver Bullet,
Shot right through my heart.
To prove I can survive,
Without you.
Got a single Silver Bullet,
Shot right through my heart.
To prove I can survive.

Like a single Silver Bullet,
(Tonight we'll fly away so high)
Shot right through my heart.
(Like a full moon sky)
To prove I can survive,
Without you.

Got a single Silver Bullet,
(Tonight we'll fly away so high)
Shot right through my heart.
(Like a full moon sky)
To prove I can survive,
Without you.

General Comment:It makes me think of the classic werewolf tale about a man who is cursed to be a werewolf. The man falls in love with a woman. The only way the woman can save his soul is by love and a Silverbullet. Best movie examples are The Wolfman (1941), Curse Of The Werewolf (1961), An American Werewolf in London (1981), and The Wolfman (2010)

Song Meaning:I think this song is about a werewolf.

Silver bullets are fabled to be the only thing that would kill a werewolf of monster..
Why else would they specify that it is a SILVER bullet?

And how FULL MOON is brought up randomly in the song..
I think it's pretty obvious, but nobody seems to hae gotten the reference.

I think its a spinoff to all the Twilight hysteria.

General Comment:Well, i think this song is amazing.
A boy that i was kind of together with and i started seeing new people and now we both have new significant others. He texted me saying to look this song up on youtube and i said alright.he tells me what i tihnk when i hear it. I started to cry because he was such a big part in my life. he told me that he missed me and couldnt live without me. It was pretty sweet.

I agree that the acoustic version is better, its just a little too slow for me. i like the upbeat feeling of the orignial.

General Comment:I think the song is about a relationship starting to turn really sour, and everything going wrong in it, "like a single silver bullet, shoot right through my heart, to prove i can survive without you" this meaning that he can't survive without his girlfriend :) pretty sad song rly

General Comment:fuckthepainawayxo You have a fucking good point =]=]

And although I do have dyed black hair, skinny black jeans, and thick eyeliner, I totally agree with you.

Every song I listen to, (and it's not all emo, I have led zep and some metal and shit like that) they all mean something, and have at least a slight bit of emotion in them.

I think you've got a really good point, and some people who come on here to slag off songs need a life. People like that would do well to listen to you for a while. You could teach them some stuff that they erm...............need teaching? Lol

Anyway, as the site is for opinions of songs and their meanings, I shall say what they mean to me lol.

I personally love the song, both versions =]
I heard the electric first, loved it.
    Heard the acoustic, hated it.
Then I heard Ohio Is For Lovers on acoustic, loved that, so I gave this another chance. And its fucking good!

And the meaning.....It's pretty much all been said.
I think the one that HH say is true, is obviously true lol. But when I first heard the lyrics and thought about them, I thought it was what the others have said.

    Boy loves girl.
Girl doesnt love him as much.
Boy tries to convince himself he doesnt need her.
And in doing so, realises he needs her more than he thinks.
He ends up liking her more, even though mhe is trying to tell himself he doesnt like her.

That made sense to me anyway. Because that's currently happening to me. You dont want my lifestory lol. I wont explain.

But what I do think is, I thought that because of things that had happened to me. If someone had felt like he did, and wanted to leave a band, he might have come up with that meaning straight away.

You shouldn't slag peole off because of how they interpret the songs. It's what they take from it themselves that makes it good to them.

I was on Left Behind-Slipknot the other day, and iot was just wrong how much people were getting slagged off because of how they interpret the songs.

If you disagree with someone else, just say what you think. Don't try and make them feel small or anything. As far as I care anyway, if you startb doing that you can shut the fuck up.

Anyway, a bit of a long comment =S

    Great song
    Listen to it =]

    Have fun! xxxxxx

Wawawawawa life is hard. So kill yourself.

    --

    Um. look.

music is peoples opinions and feelings expressed through organised sound.
If some bands want to put a bit more emotion in the theme of love, being sad, whatever. its there choice. and if done properly, almost anyone can relate to it.

it doesnt mean that people want to kill themselves. if you took every song as the band members wanting to do the lyrics, where the fuck would girlfriend - avril lavigne get you? shes married.

    thats just an example.

songs show their meanings through metaphores often. and by "emo" music talking about death they just mean extreme emotional pain, not the fact they want to kill themselves.

which is why just about no one who listens to "emo" slits there wrists. its just emotions. if you have a problem with someone relating their emotions into music, you shouldnt listen to ANY music. as every song shows some emotion. everyone shows emotion. and if "emo" music wants to put a LOT of emotion into music, so be it. it doesnt mean anyone whos listened to it is going to cut their wrists and commit suicide. it doesnt mean everyone who listens to it dyes their hair black, wears girls pants and thick eyeliner. it doesnt mean we take these lyrics literally, the parts where its extremely emotional anyway. you seem to be the only one here who needs to take the lyrics literally, which i find really pittyful.

    grow up :)
