    General Comment:Ok, so after listening the the original and numerous other covers of this song by other bands, I've formed an opinion. First of all, Fall Out Boy is definitely not copying the original, Patrick Stump sings it at a much faster pace and higher tone than the original singer, Ian Curtis, so whoever said that is just wrong. Secondly, this cover is better than most of the covers done of this song, such as Bono's cover and The Cure's, or atleast just as good. Now, obviously it isn't going to be the same or as emotional as the original, which is sung by the guy who wrote the damn song. He fucking wrote it, no shit it is more personal. But this cover is much more emotional than Bono's for sure. All in all, good cover by a great band

    General Comment:This song should not have more comments than the original Joy Division song. I understand that Fall Out Boy is the band of the week, and has been for God knows however long you preteen assholes have been buying their vomit, but there is no band ( Xiu Xiu aside ) who should be covering Joy Division. Rats off to ya.

    General Comment:obv fall out boy wont outdo joy division but i can honestly say patrick is not trying to sound like ian curtis at all and lets be honest, fall out boy probably did this cover cuz they like the song and grew up listening to bands like joy division so i think ian curtis would feel flattered that the big bands years on are playing his music and are being inspired by his work.

    General Comment:I don't like Fall Out Boy, but I dont like a lot of things, so that's really a non-issue.

    When bands like Fall Out Boy, who by cover songs like Love Will Tear Us Apart, it always to me smacks of struggling for respect. "look we like JOY DIVISION you respect them right". What does it is the choice of song too, Why not Transmission? She's Lost Control? Atmosphere? Digital? they choose the most recognisable song and sing it. An act of grabbing for respect is all it comes acorss as to me.

    General Comment:I agree.This is a terrible cover.I think the larger percent of the comments agree that it sucks, thus proving it really does.And it's not just because it's a cover - check the comments on Nirvana's cover of Love Buzz, no one is dissing on that.
