Lyrics for I Luv the Valley OH! as interpreted by PLANES

I Luv the Valley OH! Lyrics
That's a pill and you've got to take it
That's a pill that you've got to take
I won't rest until you take it
That's a heart that you made
That's a heart and the both of you made it
And I won't rest until I break it
It’s ‘histroic de la famile
It’s l’histroic de la FAM
And I won't rest until I forget about it
I won't rest until I don't care
I won't rest until I forget about it
La La La La La La La
That's a razor and you will make a threat
That's a razor make million billion threats
And I won't rest cuz I heard it all before
My behind is a beehive, there's a buzz in my backside
My behind is a beehive and I won't rest
while you break my will
Je t’aime the valley
Je t’aime the valley OH!!!
I am an orphan de la valley
And I won’t rest until I forget about it
I won’t rest until I don’t care
LA LA LA LA LA LA LA

"histroic de la famile ...."
"Je t’aime ...."

Is that French?

Je t'aime means I love you. I think histroic may be a made up word -- "troic" means pertaining to Troy; Trojan. de la famile = of the family.

uh, "troic" doesn't mean pertaining to Troy.

I think that this is the most depressing song on Fabulous Muscles.

I believe this is about how suicide runs in his family.

"That's a pill and you've got to take it"
The person tries to kill themselves over and over.

"I won't rest until you take it "
I believe that, instead of the singer wanting the person to kill themselves, that they instead realize how much they care. They don't want this person to die, but they realize cynically that they won't be able to rest until that person dies.

"It’s ‘histroic de la famile" should be " It's l'histoire de la famile"
The singer is saying "it's the history of the family", in that people in his family kill themselves, or at least attempt to kill themselves often.

"And I won't rest until I forget about it
I won't rest until I don't care "
The singer still cares, but it's ripping him up inside. He doesn't think that he can stop it, but regardless, he still loves these people. He can't rest until he stops caring about them (which he realizes won't happen).

"La la la la la la la la la"
Picture the singer in a corner, eyes closed tightly, hands over his ears, shouting this out, and by this, shutting out the world.

"That's a razor and you will make a threat
That's a razor make million billion threats"
The person threatens to kill themselves, over and over.

"My behind is a beehive, there's a buzz in my backside
My behind is a beehive and I won't rest "
I'm not entirely sure about this line. I imagine that the singer's been up for hours (the buzz from sitting down for a long time) trying to make this person happy.

"while you break my will"
The singer is battered by all of these threats, and he is trying to hold in, but it gets harder and harder for him to do so.

"Je t’aime the valley OH!!! "
The valley is this person's home. I love my home. He says this in a sarcastic, almost desperate tone.

"I am an orphan de la valley"
Shift ahead in time, and he now an orphan, but he still can't forget about everyone. It is driving him crazy.

La la la la la la la la la

I was just thinking about this. I think that 'the valley' is representative of depression. I am an orphan to depression; depression killed his family.

the histroc thing is french and is "it's the l'histoire de la family" which is a kind of franglais (loose english french mix) for "the the family history/story."

i think its supposed to be 'l'histoire de la FEMME' [story/history of the girl] as opposed to FAM. it just makes more sense in conjunction with 'l'histoire de la family'

But since when does Xiu Xiu have to make sense?

Xiu Xiu has to make a bit of sense simply for it to be effective. One of the things that I love the most about Jamie Stewart's music are the incredibly depressing mental images that his songs conjure.

precipitate, the word "femme" is pronounced in french the same way the word "fam" is in english. it's rather obvious that the line is "l'histoire de la femme."

Oh! why thank you for the lesson on French pronunciation. He's done interviews about this song, talking about the lyrics, and it's "fam". He's not trying to be linguistically correct.

If you could direct me to an interview where he says this much, I would appreciate it. Also not to be an ass, just not necessarily believing everything on the internet.

I was going to say that but he doesn't specify on that line, and it's more of an (essay maybe?), I'm not sure what you would call it. But I assure you the lyrics are most definitely in Fabulous Muscles.
