i love this song...i'm gonna go and buy the cd as soon as possible. but this is such a deep song...so are all of their songs but i love this one the most because its kind of the life of an outkast sort of thing. "you sing the words but you dont know what it means" i love that

one of those song which can be read on a personnal level by pretty much everyone.

Kinda obvious from the lyrics i guess.

I never want to let you down or have you go, it's better off this way. This part realtes to the loose connections with suicide. it is him saying goodbye to whoever has hurt him and saying this way is better for the both of us as i cant deal with this hurtand pain anymore and i want it to end so badly and wish it would go back to how my life used to be but thatwont happen and i am so desperate it results in desperate measures i.e suicide.

This part in my opinion means that people talk aboutsuicide as if yeah yeah i so know what thats allabout but really they dont have a clue what it is like to be so messed up inthe head and completely screwed and really nobody understands how it feels at all...it is indescribable and his feelings cannot be expressd. His frustration is too much and he cannot find anyanswers to anything. he is being driven insane and here we go to the subject of suicide again. oops sorry i kinda took this a bit far. i could talk for hours...

i love this song, especially the i'm not o-fucking kay line, cos u know wat sumtimes ur jus not ok, and the more ppl ask u, r u alrite? r u ok? the more u jus wanna scream this line at them. i think the songs purley about dissapointment tho, dissapointment of unrequieted love, dissapointment of finding out some one u idolise isnt who you think they are. the song rocks.

I know everybody else thinks its about somebody who likes a chick at high school like their friend. But when i first heard the song i thought it was about a guy whos in love with this girl and hes sleeping with her, but shes in a relationship. Actually miss_delonge's interpretation fits very well. Before I don't know where the line

fitted in, but now I see it may be about the boyfriend finding out, perhaps?

I think this song is the poppiest song in their album. But despite that fact i still love it. It's not just the melody but the lyrics. It's the whole package. It has meaning and no doubt this song has meaning to me.

But the thing i don't get it is that Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge is a concept album and this song doesnt seem to fit in. Well it kinda does cause what i think this song is about how the girl, who the guy is killing the 1000 mens for, founds out that the guy has killed all these people just to see her and stuff. I don't know why i think that but i just do. Well thats what i think for the concept album story.
