I don't know why
I never told you
I don't know why
I never tried

When we shed these bitter skins again

All the reasons come to life
But now it's over
Now it's over
Now it's over
Now it's over

I don't know why
You never asked me
And I don't know why
You never cared

Went we hind these little sins again

All the reasons
Have to die
But now it's over
Now it's over
And now it's over
And now it's over
And now it's over!
And now it's over!
And now it's over!
And now it's over!

No!

General Comment:This is meant to set the mood for the rest of the song. Many songs tie into this first one like a story. The extreme anger he feels in "the Blister Exists", the schizophrenia he feels in "Duality", or the sens of loss he feels in "Danger - Keep away", it's all part of the same story.

General Comment:This is such a powerful and emotional song...
I think it could be to do with a lot of things.... mainly the way people act and how they can give up too easily..as in one day stuff gets too much and they stop caring.. and then thats it...its all lost and its over...whatever it is..be it a relationship or something else...so then nothing really matters... 'all the reasons have to die'

General Comment:I think this song is about how sometimes people you're very close to change and you don't think anything of it until it's to late which is why he says "I don't know why, I never told you I don't know why, I never tried" and then from that he goes on and says "When we hide these little sins again (sins again)
All the reasons have to die" i think that's saying how slowly you start to change yourself and you realize it then you lose all the reasons you had to do everything you did before and when it gets to "and Now it's over" that represents your life crumbling all around you because you don't know why you do the things you do and you don't know who any of your friends are anymore leaving you with no reason to live

General Comment:This and Danger - Keep Away are the best bits of music on the whole album i beleive. There different, but the way they all just gel together is perfect.

General Comment:Slipknot's not breaking up anytime soon, they've built sucha big fan base and appeal to such a vast group of people. For some people this band is like a drug to get them through hard times, me being one of them. Don't lie, whenever you're down or pissed, you throw these bastards on and just fuckin let loose.

And Iowa wasn't sell out crap, it was just rushed and not planned out well enough.

And I agree this is a great fuckin opener
