Lyrics for Down In The Dark as interpreted by imilktjesussnipples

Down In The Dark Lyrics
Baby, you're goin' down in the dark
Show my lonely night is falling
I don't have very long
I think my blood might boil
Then my veins might burn
And you're gonna make it better
For a little while

Baby, you're gonna die someday
See you when you're crawlin', wasted
Then you'll start to fade
That won't be so I'm sinkin' faster
I wouldn't wait so long
It won't get any easier in the dark

Oh yeah
You will (5x)

Baby, you're goin' down in the dark
Think my lonely night is falling
I don't have very long
Think my blood might boil
And then my veins might burn
And you're gonna make it better
For a little while

Oh yeah
You will (10x)

It's not a Nirvana song. It was a project that Kurt made with Mark Lanegan (songwriter). Mark was the lead singer and Kurt came up with the the guitar (drums and bass I have no idea but it could be Kurt too). It can be found in "The Birth Of Alternative Vol. 2". Go to www.digitalnirvana.net if you have any doubts

THIS ISN'T A NIRVANA SONG!
This song was recorded in 1989 for Mark Lanegan's solo album "The Winding Sheet".
Kurt Cobain and Krist Novoselic are on guitar and bass. Cobain does backing vocals... he also does guitar on the "Where did you sleep last night" cover on the same album.
I adore this song. Why the hell isn't Mark Lanegan credited here? It's his song!
