I see the city lights all around me
Everyone's obscure
Ten million people each with their problems
Why should anyone care

And in Your eyes I can see
I am not just a man, vastly lost in this world
Lost in a Sea of Faces
Your body's the bread, Your blood is the wine
Because you traded Your life for mine

Sometimes my life it feels so trivial
Immersed in the greatness of space
Yet somehow you still find the time for me
It's then You show me Your love

And In Your eyes I can see
And in Your arms I will be
I am not just a man, vastly lost in this world
Lost in a Sea of Faces
Your body's the bread, Your blood is the wine
Because you traded Your life for mine

If only my one heart
Was all you'd gain from all it cost
Well I know you would have still been a man
With a reason
To willingly offer your life

I am not just a man, vastly lost in this world
Lost in a Sea of Faces
Your body's the bread, Your blood is the wine
Because you traded Your life for mine

Just one in a million faces

Song Meaning:The first verse expresses a view of ordinary life from a very secular prespective, this will be used a tool to compare and contrast later verses. Example being "I see..." compared to "In your eyes i can see". The kingdom of Heaven being revealed to those who have the eyes of Christ.
Essential is the chorus, redemption of each of us through Christ, set free, through being in fact that his body is the bread of life and his blood is the wine .

General Comment:I don't think the song is cheezy at all... it's an expression of feeling alone and then realize you are NEVER alone. I heard this song and it turned me on to Christain music. I had never heard a song with such a deep meaning that was positive and completely about God. I love how in the first verse, he compares the number of city lights to people. There are so many, just as there are many people in the world. Yet God makes time for us. It's amazing. Truly and utterly amazing.
I don't think the part about communion is random. I think it was meant to symbolize how if there was only me, if I was the only person who sinned, God still would have sent his son, Jesus, to save me with His body and blood. It's a connection to the last verse of the song "if only my one heart was all you'd gain from all it cost, I know you would have still been a man with a reason to willingly offer your life."
This song has so much meaning. I LOVE it!

General Comment:I love this song, it is so amazing, good blend of piano and guitars. Heard it live over the summer, it was so good. I'm in a band that plays this song every once in a while too, and it's so fun to play, it's just such a good song with such a good message, Kutless is amazing, and their newest album is their best yet, everyone should go get it, " hearts of the innocent" do it

General Comment:first off... Kutless is awesome... i love this song... its got a punk rockish sound... especially for Kutless... its got a good meaning to it... but the lyrics really don't go together that good... "Your body's the bread, Your blood's the wine, because you traded your life for mine" what does that have to do with the rest of the song? its a great song but the lyricist seems like he was trying to find somethin to rhyme and not somethin that made sense with the song... but i really love Kutless... Jesus died for you, do you live for Jesus?
