This is a good song especially for the subject. Have you seen the Crispin Glover video for the "Willard" remake? Weird, but good.

its kind of cool thats it about a rat. the movie "Ben" made me cry my eyes out.
like at the end when the boy see's ben, and he takes q-tips to get the blood off, and then they play Ben by Michael Jackson. this made me cry for weeks!

In general, I don't like MJs music. That is not to deny his talent influence or importance, just a question of taste.

This song, OTOH, is fabulous. Really showing off his vocal talents ( rather than just his range as so often ). And while it may have been written about a rat, I think it also speaks of loneliness and finding someone to share that with, a subject that I suspect was very close to his heart.

his voice is amazing and shows how much of a superstar he was, and always will be.

This song may be about a rat, but you have to understand one thing, Michael didn't have a childhood, he was a singer. So, naturally, he wrote this song, very well at that.
