Enable to bring out the something
You want to know beneath the snow
In winter you're an affliction
That repeatedly defeated me
I'll find you somewhere
Show you how much I care
Know that there is no escape
from my snow brigade
Bring out the someone
You need to see for jealousy
We all know one day you'll leave behind
Your everything
And feel the spring come
'Cause I'll find you somewhere
Show you how much I care
Know that there is no escape
from my snow brigade
My arms retreat
I wish they were there to hold you
I'll find you somewhere
Show you how much I care
Know that there is no escape
From my snow brigade
You want to know beneath the snow
In winter you're an affliction
That repeatedly defeated me
I'll find you somewhere
Show you how much I care
Know that there is no escape
from my snow brigade
Bring out the someone
You need to see for jealousy
We all know one day you'll leave behind
Your everything
And feel the spring come
'Cause I'll find you somewhere
Show you how much I care
Know that there is no escape
from my snow brigade
My arms retreat
I wish they were there to hold you
I'll find you somewhere
Show you how much I care
Know that there is no escape
From my snow brigade

Hayalperest
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere.
In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.
Just A Little Lovin'

I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example:
"'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
people should stop connect every song with drugs.
@mitzie Yeah, those who are triggered commenting that snow brigade is equivalent to cocain are the real cocain addicts here, be real, dont just say "my friend told me that when you use cocain it snows" or "someone told me that cocain do this etc.." but lets just be real instead because the truth is that it's their own experiences and write it down in the comments. they are the real coke addicts and so am I and I am not afraid of how bad user I am from the past.
To me, the lyrics, like those of the whole of Frengers, are somewhat sinister. That's the best thing about Mew imho - on top, they're all sugary scandipop goodness, but listen to the lyrics and there are much deeper, more sinister shades of meaning. So amazing. Mew are possibly the best band to have ever existed
NO ONE HAS COMMENTED ON THIS SONG!?!? oh my god, its so amazing, probably one of mew's best.
I have absolutely no idea what they are talking about but I like the sound. I get so confused with islandic music in general, perhaps they are more artistic and insightful than me.
This song is just awesome.... its rocks......does anyone know the meaning of this song...cuz this surely is one of mew's best.
Aren't they Danish? Perhaps that's what's confusing you. The lyrics aren't brilliant (as with most bands whose first language isn't English but whose record companies insist they sing in English) but the music just reminds me of a beautiful snowy night and that's why I like it.
incoherentlove: They are Danish. :) robotjosh: They sang in english before they signed with their record company.
this was the first ever song i heard by mew a few years ago when a close friend made me a mixtape; hopefully seeing them live in september -fingers crossed-
i think all Mew's lyrics are amazing!! They seem to speak better English than me! This is no where near one of their best songs but it's still amazing. Their new album is great and i'm going to see them in two days :D.
this song is absolute winter pop, slightly out-of-this world and a little bit violent... snow brigade is a very good nickname for mew themselves, with all the ice, snow, lonliness and winter in their songs, and yet they are like a rescue... there is a kind of vibrancy in all that, so i say THEY are the snow brigade.
