Ahem, I'm here to inform you all that you suck. Stop bitching about some band. I think H.I.M is good, I think some of quiffporn's music is good. I also think some of it sucks ass but some H.I.M songs suck ass too. And then theres a million other bands that are good and some that are bad. you are the smartest person that has left a comment on this song yet, Mrtinkertrain that is exactly right if you come on this site and leave some huge comment whineiung about how good or bad a song is you are a moron. im not a big fan of hims music but they are good lyricly and quiffporn i realy dont think him is a wannabe goth band but then im not a goth so i wouldnt realy know. on the other hand this song is about knowing you could die and trying to tell someone you love that you are in danger of your life, this is one of their best songs.

have you seen the 'kinda' film clip Bam Margera made to this...well its mostly just him skating and him with the CKY crew...but instead of the start being loud and crashy...its better...i guess..

It's kind of off topic, but because the last guy mentioned Bam Margera's dabblings with camera work, I thought it was worth asking, have any of you seen the 'erotic' movie Bam Margera made?

It is basically Bam sticking it to his girlfriend Jen, with a bunch of crappy filters and blurring effects and HIM playing in the background. It is hillarious, because he obviously believes that the video represents something deep and profound, when in reality, it just looks like a crappy 'made for TV' softcore porn, with bad lighting.

Maybe he should stick to skating and throwing things at his dad and leave the 'art-house' porn to people with more talent...

Perhaps instead of having his girlfriend in the video at all, he could have just filmed himself tossing off over a poster of Valo and put a bunch of crappy filters over that. Just think, Bam Margera beating the 'one-eyed wonder-weasel' while this songs plays in the background. The chorus could kick in, just as Bam blows his load into a tube sock. At least it would have been mildly amusing to watch and lets face it, he would have enjoyed it more too...

If someone bashes a band you like, just let them have their say, if they said something worth commenting on, then do so otherwise ignore them. HIM are one of my favourite bands and i like a range of music (mostly rock or rock-related). Other bands I regularly listen to are: Deep purple, Green day, My chemical romance, Cradle of filth, Queen and Nirvana. I dont get mad and start frothing at the mouth if someone else doesnt worship the bands i like or agree with everything i say (because that would just be boring). The only thing that does make me mad is people who talk superiorly about "14 year old hormonal girls" because i happen to be a 14 year old girl and im not all over the place and over emotional. I do find Ville Valo attractive, but im not one of those sad obsessive people who decide they are "in love" with a band member who is much older than them and probably either has a girlfriend/boyfriend (whatever their preference) or doesnt particularly want one. As for being a "goth", i was under the impression that goth was just a way of dressing. I sometimes wear old fashioned clothes which could be defined as "gothic" (dresses and the like) but that isnt to "find an identity" as someone put it, it's just because i like dressing that way. Where i live, being a goth, grunger, punk or whatever isnt something that makes you fit in because sadly the area is overrun with chavs.

Anyway, ok rant over, i just wanted to point that out because it isnt right to be prejudiced against teenagers who cant force themselves to age faster or anything!

So, about the song itself...

This is one of my favourite HIM songs, but mainly for the instrumental side because it sounds different to a lot of other songs by them. I do like the lyrics too, because of how Ville seems to flippantly throw out a load of lyrics which fit into each other and make a lot of sense to me (I know people have said they dont get the lyrics, fair enough, their opinion not mine). Most of all i like the energy in this song :)

I am wondering why all the fucking...not HIM fans (that sounded gay I know) are in here, if you dont like him how did you get on this lyric page??? I mean normally when I dont like a band I dont go on a page that has anything to do with HIM.. Thats what most "normal" people do, and yes every one has a right to his or her own feeling, but that doesnt mean you need to go starting shit quiffporn. I mean seriously, but I do think you are quite funny (alond with being a bitch..and kind of immature) the whole list of 5, you really made me laugh major hard, and I am a HIM fan a MAJOR HIM fan. I am listen to Bauhaus and Sisters of mercy and more I really like the song "Antonin Artaud", but its not onyl the music and the look. Being goth is about emotions..really that is a major part to it, and being into things like death (kind of) and Medevil type of stuff...but real goth whatever definition is like something of people in the 1800's in some kind of religion or something like that (my mother did a report on goth people and gothic things). Come back qiuffporn you are major awesome you ask...well talk like the people I hang out with (even considering most of them also hate HIM or feel the same way as you do about them) But...hmmmm I feel I have a commitment to say something bout the song..but first I must say the thing of BAM, with the HIM poster, "Buried Alive By Love" playing in the back ground and beating the 'one-eyed wonder-weasel' was good, LOL. I personally think BAM has a thing for Ville, I mean he is really hott, it would be kind of hot if they got together...but seeing as Ville is getting married that wont happen in the neer future. Oh so the song....hmmm *starts playing song for the 15th time sense starting to read this post thing* um....(I am kind of good at getting what songs are about...kind of) Ok well in the starting I think he must have loved her but she didnt love him he told her and she said something like "whatever I dont love you" he was upset..kind of pissed at the same time (hense the he should have told her your tomb is where your heart is..maybe meaning to say kind of "you bitch I loved you"...or something like that...but then the secret part kind of throws me off. So after that the crying part he is so sad he wants to die..and the saddness he has overcame..and maybe he now just thinks he will die (dont laugh if I sound silly trying to understand the lyrics, pleaze) then the whole fool you part also throws me off....umm then the rescue me with your smile makes me think he wantes to live. Then he says about the "blessing him" (which normally when you are "blessed" you have gotten something good) then I think ok then he does want to die so maybe when she smiles he dies (kind of a "Beautiful" thong--speaking of the song "Beautiful" how he is say he crs 'coz she is so beautiful and practically dies when...touched..or kissed I think)...so overveiw of the song...He loved her she didnt love him he was sad and pissed and said mean things wanted to die...umm hasnt just feels so hurt by the situation that he feels he has been "buried alive by love" (meaning-I think something like- I am sure being buried alive by someone would kind of mean that person didnt like you...sooo he feels he has gotten...ummm I dont know how to put it..but whatever if you know what I mean-Kool then we share..understanding of thing...if you dont....tough shit (not being rude just pointing out a fact) I dont know how to put it.
