when you're looking at things from a distance, everything looks so nice and peaceful. it's not so hard because you get to see the big picture. people can try bring you back down to earth, but being in that state is thrilling and relieving.

This song is about suicide. The song focuses on a person standing at the edge of a cliff, and ready to jump. He realizes that all of the hard stuff is now finally behind him, and he can just take a step and he will be free. He bites his tongue, as he is still uncertain of what to do, and states that he thinks that nobody cares.

"all of this hurt that's wilted off"
Simply, he doesn't hurt anymore.

The person is somewhat suprised at all of the relief that this position provides him, as he is finally entirely in control, and this relief scares him. Subconsciously, he wants someone to talk him down, but he realizes that that's not going to happen, and that he is alone. I imagine that Huai is a reference to a former lover.

Nightmare Fox made me rofl right there.

oviously.........someone is about to kill themselves becaus their lover left them, a bad reason to kill your self
BUT........its not realy about the person leaving them its just a reason, any reason would do, they constantly want to but cant justify it, this event may be the thing to push them over.

love this song. i'm a very hesitant dude to get in a relationship. fell for a girl and after a while she told me she was also dating another guy and i couldn't deal with that. listened to a promise non stop and slept in grave yards and brought her flowers everyday for a week, then she moved to kansas. this song sums that up for me.
