This is my favourite song of by him to me it represents how to gain trust of some one who is hurt i relate to this but its a good song to show that you should never give up .

I think the song is talking about, if you have problems that taint your daily life, memories or whatnot that you haven't recovered from, if you've let yourself become embittered ... you can't expect to help other people with them, because it affects you to every degree. Rather, first you have to turn within and heal yourself, even though that's hard.

I don't know what this song is ment to mean, but my translation is that it's about a couple breaking up, the woman is upset, this other man wants to go out with her and the first guy is basically telling him that if he wants her then it's going to cost a lot in emotions. And that made no sense so i'll just shut up

well to me this is kind of like how a guy is supposed to act in a relationship. i mean its saying to be strong for her, and that you should never be mean. i'm trying to follow this but with my g/f its kind of hard. when i need to think streight i just listen to this song. its in my top five favs by HIM

I think basically this song is about 2 ppl who are very much alike in the sense of they can very easily get their heartbroken and that their very insecure about themselves and basically if this guy wants to be with this girl he's just got to, be stronger and show her what to be like so the relationship will work! I think it's a great song and I dunno if what i said makes any sense but that's what i think of the song!

Personally i think this song is about a male and female person who are stuck in a place where they can't get out, and no matter how bad it is, she loves him so much that if he looks happy and doesn't show he's afraid she will be fine, because she trusts him, and i think like some other people have said it's about how much you are willing to do to keep the one you love happy.....I went to see him Last Ocbtober and they rocked, they sang this song too, which is like my fave one

I think that this song is about two people that for I long time do not realise that they are mutually atrracted to one another. When they do though the women is frightened of being hurt, and still that the man does not love her. his fears are just the same (Your circle of fears are the same.) but he needs to convince her that love is worth it. That and love is a scary thing and always has the chance to hurt.

i think this song is about what nikKi 21 said. "before you can help anyone else with their problems, you first need to fix your own". its like theres no use in trying to help someone else if you can't even deal with your own problems. like in an airplane, you have to put your own oxygen mask on before assisting others!

The "circle" makes me think of the nine circles of hell. I can't find a connection between a circle of fear and the circles of hell yet, but maybe there is one. Anyone thinking the same?

To help anyone else, first you have to help yourself. Otherwise, you'll just be hiding your worries and your misery behind a mask. You have to be strong to be a saviour, but their "circle of fear is the same", so my guess is they're both equally afraid. Afraid of opening up and simply being happy because they got too used to the hurt they feel, which has become comforting.

Don't try to be strong for anyone else if you can't play that part 100% of the time.

It really seems to me like it's about a guy who's in love with a girl who's been through a hell of a lot. The guy, wanting to help, should first overcome the things holding him back so that he can do exactly what he wants to in order to help this girl and make her happy. "Circle of Fear" to me, refers to how we fear real love, the kind where we feel a relationship is possible to maintain and possibly end up with the person you love for life. Just my thoughts.

I'm going to go ahead and assume that I'm the only who's seen the 70's show, Circle of Fear. We can sit here and make up all of this symbolic stuff about the song, and some of it is, but most of it I think is about the pilot episode of Circle of Fear. check it out. Let me know if I'm wrong
