Heartache is knocking on her door
Shadows dance outside her window
Tears keep falling on the floor
As the world around her crumbles
If you want to save her
First you have to save yourself
If you want to free her from the hurt
Don't do it with your pain
If you want to see her smile again
Don't show her you're afraid
Because your circle of fear is the same
Love can be as cold as grave
A one-way ticket to endless sorrow
An empire of gentle hate
Today without tomorrow
It's the circle of regret
The circle of hate
The circle of death
Your circle of fear is the same
Shadows dance outside her window
Tears keep falling on the floor
As the world around her crumbles
If you want to save her
First you have to save yourself
If you want to free her from the hurt
Don't do it with your pain
If you want to see her smile again
Don't show her you're afraid
Because your circle of fear is the same
Love can be as cold as grave
A one-way ticket to endless sorrow
An empire of gentle hate
Today without tomorrow
It's the circle of regret
The circle of hate
The circle of death
Your circle of fear is the same

I feel like it is about my relationship with my parents, I am going through a rough patch, but they are yet to help me do anything about it.
I know that sounds silly, but I just felt the need to share that.
The circle of hate
The circle of death
Your circle of fear is the same"
Try this:
The circle of hate, the circle of death, your circle of LIFE is the same.
If you want to save her
First you have to save yourself
^^^^^^^^^^^I love that lyric.
If you want to save her
First you have to save yourself
^^^^^^^^^^^I love that lyric.
my thoughts almost exactly
To help anyone else, first you have to help yourself. Otherwise, you'll just be hiding your worries and your misery behind a mask. You have to be strong to be a saviour, but their "circle of fear is the same", so my guess is they're both equally afraid. Afraid of opening up and simply being happy because they got too used to the hurt they feel, which has become comforting.
Don't try to be strong for anyone else if you can't play that part 100% of the time.
