Blind on a ledge, not a thing, not a,
Road of broken heart, not a thing, not at all

You know,
Of things we hear, nothing's there, nothing.
She said "why do you watch me?" said 'why?'
You know,
Maybe a good excuse not to give a fuck.
But I, care for you, said alright.
Could be a good excuse.

Full of love, just returned, just when..
You lied, it hurt and your pride, your pride.
Hurt pride.

And it is, not a thing, not a, you
It hurt, nothing, and me.
It is, these games are nothing

Maybe a good excuse not to give a fuck
But I,
But I don't want you, and don't want me.
These, games, are nothing.

General Comment:here is what i got out of it:
he says he loves her, at the time he meant it, but as time goes by, he realizes that he doesn't love her anymore. what they had doesn't really mean shit to him anymore, and she is hurt and can not move on.

"But I don't want you. And don't want me.
    These. games. are nothing."

he is saying that he doesn't want her anymore, and he is telling her to move on, and what they had meant nothing.

or.. it could be the total opposite. he could be telling himself that what they had was nothing.

General Comment:Blind on a ledge, not a thing, not a...
Road of broken heart, not a thing. Not at all

    - "blind on a ledge" saying hes helpless. and he could fall at any time.

and everywhere he goes (on this road of broken heart) he just gets hurt.

    You know...
Of things we hear, nothing's there.. nothing.
She said "Why do you watch me?" said 'why?'
    You know..
Maybe a good excuse not to give a fuck.
But I... Care For You. Said alright.
    Could be a good excuse.
    - and with this: "Of things we hear, nothing's there.. nothing" he seems to be saying that people think the relationship is ok, but him and the girl know theres nothing there at all. bert is the one that cares about the girl, but she doesnt car for him. she asks why he cares/watches her.. but he doesnt have an answer & is trying to persuade himself that he doesnt care for her.

Full of love, just returned, just when..
You lied, it hurt and your pride... your pride.
    Hurt pride.

    - but with, "Full of love, just returned, just when..
You lied, it hurt and your pride... your pride .Hurt pride.." it seems to say that when she did return the love, it was fake. and he figured it out and she got embarassed.

    And it is... not a thing...not a...you
    It hurt, Nothing. And me.
    It is...these games are nothing
    - by this he seems to be saying, "jesus christ, this is all just useless"

Maybe a good excuse not to give a fuck
    But I...
But I don't want you. And don't want me.
    These. games. are nothing

    - now he tells himself and her that they dont want each other. these games are stupid.

    General Comment:Great demo

Obviously needs some work and could have a nice spot in a newer album
I like the little bass solo

Im guessing its about someone that you care for yet that person has very little fellings towards you so you try to forget but you cant get them out of your head. So inside you try to make up excuses for the way you fell.......

Just a thought not sure its right

General Comment:someone playing games with you.
one second they care, the next they don't.
they want sympathy, but they don't actually need it.
and win they can't when, it hurts their pride.
