This has come to end.
In moments these flowers will bloom and rot.
In moments your beauty, laid to waste.
Your convictions felt.
Your convictions denied.
Your convictions felt.
Waiting as I saw you fading.
Like everything in time you weathered and you died.
Pull the pedals and rot.
Dead eyes for false lies.

General Comment:it's such a beautifully crafted song, the chorus just pulls me in...

it reminds me of the time when I was just waiting for my grandmother to die. She had cancer and its effects (+therapy) were just ravaging her life away. And she was such a beautiful person but time & life took its toll on her.. badly. And she jsut withered away.

General Comment:The song title is a reference to a Chuck Palahniuk novel, Survivor where the guy steals flowers from recent funeral sites.

General Comment:it could be 2 things.
in life, people bloom then rot (grow old).
    or...
the writer no longer finds something or someone beautiful.
