    General Comment:Aren't all bands ripoffs of bands that came before them? Please show me one band in the past 10 years, that sounds half decent, that isn't a copy or reinvention of bands that came before them! Despite what you might think that isn't a knock on modern music at all. It would be a impossible task to be completely original and sell any records because it would just sound horrible. The best any modern band can do is to put a new spin on old music.

    They think that only one genre of music can make good music.

    They insult an entire style of music. Any genre ever has some good music. I'd be impressed if someone can name a style that doesn't. You obviously know nothing about electronic music if you think all they do is remixes of other songs.

    And you actually think its okay for a band to rip of other bands? Why not just listen to the original? They did the music the right way hence the reason they're getting imitated. Otherwise its just manufactured like all the boy/girl bands you claim to hate. Not saying jet is like that, but simply making catchy tunes doesn't make you a good musician.

    General Comment:Jet is a generic rock band like best choice cola is a generic soft drink. Most people wouldn't spend money on it, but certainly wouldn't turn it down if offered to them, and the only real reason people buy it is to mix with alcohol.

    General Comment:I agree with waffleman you guys are making this into way to much of a politiical isssue. so what if it copies old classic bands, you dont see the rolling stones and other ones complaining. They prolly think its great that a band wants to revive rock. I mean this song and so many others that I listen to of there's have such a cool and unique sound that today's bands cant mimic in my opionion. Dont you think if they were literally coping iggy pop and others thered be a lawsuit or something I mean common people think about and actaully think lol So ya tecnically they havent done any riping off at all and if you wanna go complain go do it about a rap song or paris hilton bc there the ones making stupid music in my opionion of course but I love Jet and there gonna keep rockin for years to come so deal wit and have a nice day lol

    General Comment:i have so many problems with the conversation on this song. i am not in to much classic rock but for christs sake you are hating a band because they sounds like someone else, the lyrics are their own, which to me is all that really matters as long as the music isnt a exact copy of another song (DJ Remix?) sure other people did it first but if it aint broke, don't fix it, they have their own take on others style so stop dissing a band because of bullshit reasons that have no effect on the music itself. fuck your turning rock into politics you fucking faggets. and another thing is did it not occur to anyone that he is talking about DJs at a club not on the radio, who people love for music he plays but still somehow gets credit for, "your spinning away" seems like a pretty obvious clue and so does "supersonic beats" so i dont know what the fuck everyones problem is but go suck a dick, listen to good music and forget about the god damn politics.

    General Comment:I dont think Jet is crap. I mean they have their good points and we need more rock bands in music that are seen cuz they need to drown out ashlee simpson and britney spears before they implant chips in our brains and take over the world man. those kind of people are so processed and so very fake,. even though you can tell Jet doesnt really have really meanign ful songs but you've got to admit at least they are keepin the rock spirit alive. same with AC DC they are my fav band but their songs werent meanign ful but they were fun. they made everyone rock out and put a new outlook on rock. I dont think Jet is as good as ACDC obviously but still same idea .
