i love this song!!!

my little puppy's name is julie and she is the best. whenever i come home from work or a bad date or something i just look at her and it's really hard not to feel better instantly hahah!

i don't think there's anything that is the same as the love you have for a pet, especially a dog. maybe i'll find someone special someday but until then julie is number 1 hahaha

My girlfriends name is Julie and i've promised her that as soon as i master, or at least get good on the guitar, i would write her a song. well obviously i cant write her this song but she'll love this song so much that she wont mind it.

Heard it in Scrubs... one of the catchiest frickin' (Scrubs humor) songs I've ever heard. Scrubs has exposed me to so many great bands I'd never heard of or inappropriately dismissed (Fountains of Wayne & The Fray both come to mind).

The pedophile theory is stupid, even if it is about a child the song isn't sexual. It's about someone who always brightens your day. Loving someone doesn't mean you are "in love" or that it is a sexual relationship. This song could be perfectly platonic or romantic depending on the relationship you apply it to - that's called good songwriting.

it's funny, i heard this song for the first time at work and i hear it like every day now at least twice because of the programmed music or whatever and it makes me smile every time i hear it. obviously because the song is about all the stress that goes on during the day and makes me grateful that i have a "julie" even though he's not exactly a julie...

I saw them in concert, it was this wooden thing a guy shook and it twisted around making a wash board sound. It was pretty cool. Damn catchy song.

I really think that the background sound adds effect to the song. I just can't tell what the sound is. A washboard? Sort of sounds like it or that little ovalish percussion instrument you move the stick down and back over. It could be tons of things. Wish I knew.

This song is what I want my marriage to be like. Whenever I have a crappy day at work, it won't matter because I'll have my sweetie to come home to and cheer me up. =)

How can you listen to this song and not just be instantly happy? I think it may be physically impossible. Basically, he's so grateful this girl is in his life because she makes all the crap he faces all day long not seem so bad. I want someone to write a song like this about me! So sweet.
