    General Comment:i think the meaning of this song is very clear. the moth symbolizes himself, and he has become a mess because he went after this girl who was very sweet to him, and then he was hurt by her. where it says "say my dear, is this familiar?" he is asking her if she sees the way their relationship and the moth metaphor relate to eachother. and the last verse, "i apologize, but i must avert my eyes from the light" he is kind of saying i'm sorry but i have to leave because it hurts to look at you.

    General Comment:It's like a series of snapshots that are laid in a mess on a table. You don't know which one goes first or last or what belongs in between. It's beautiful and it's a catastrophe and yet it all fits together so perfectly.
