All the railroad lights shine on the city
Full moon shall pass in twilight
In the oldest oak tree by the neighboring factories
Forever rising steel beams in twilight.
In the overpass view with the traffic lights hanging
By threads like ornaments
So did you have your last drink?
Did you raise it up to me, just to spite me not being there with you?
Drunk and fucked up like the twilight
Drunk and fucked up like
Drunk, like the twilight out tonight
So when the bar closes down it does murder to the city
Dirty and peaceful and mean
And for the record I'd stand right here on the corner
Waiting for justice to bring you here to me.
Drunk and fucked up like the twilight
Drunk and fucked up like
Drunk, like the twilight out tonight.
Full moon shall pass in twilight
In the oldest oak tree by the neighboring factories
Forever rising steel beams in twilight.
In the overpass view with the traffic lights hanging
By threads like ornaments
So did you have your last drink?
Did you raise it up to me, just to spite me not being there with you?
Drunk and fucked up like the twilight
Drunk and fucked up like
Drunk, like the twilight out tonight
So when the bar closes down it does murder to the city
Dirty and peaceful and mean
And for the record I'd stand right here on the corner
Waiting for justice to bring you here to me.
Drunk and fucked up like the twilight
Drunk and fucked up like
Drunk, like the twilight out tonight.

By the man. :)
It's a bittersweet tune, but the Man. He's drunk, fucked up and missing someone that just gave up. Kind of makes me wish you know what he did. And I agree with Iconoclast. That line is the incredibly powerful.
The whole damn thing is, really!

Beautiful.
