Lyrics for Into Your Hideout as interpreted by Quiggz

Into Your Hideout Lyrics
I've made it my dear face it, I still kiss the darkness
What I've wasted, I still taste it, I'm sickened and hardened
I'm gonna tear, I'm gonna tear your walls down
I'm gonna tear, I'm gonna tear your walls down

I stole into your hideout

I walked with you I talked with you, I still can help thinking
Your drugs bleeding, so sweet yet fleeting, my memories are sinking.
I;m gonna tear, I'm gonna tear your walls down
I'm gonna tear, I'm gonna tear your walls down

I stole into your hideout
And It's cold there now,

And Everything outside the truth, theres nothing more to cut it loose,
I've left the path, the road just disappeared.

Gray shadows and white meadows, a bitter snow is falling
My legs fail me, the ground hails me, distant lights are calling

Into your hideout,Into your hideout , tearing my heart out now

And you say,
And i say,
And I stole into your hideout

One of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. The first time he sings "I stole into your hideout", there is so much emotion. It's riveting.

i cant even begin to explain what this song does to me. It makes me think of revenge. Hes bitter towards the person in which he speaks of, and now hes gonna show everyone, by digging that person out and tearing his walls out so that everyone can see what a fucking fake they are. whatever they did, he can still taste it, and his memories are sinking, just trying to forget. and because he wants to forget, hes hiding out where thaat person was hiding. he stole his hideout.

awesome song, Pilate rocks, and they rock even more in concert. Their shows are never more than $10, and they play almost anywhere. I just hope they come out with new stuff soon.

Good Lord this song is phenomenal, so emotional. I don't think think this song has one literal meaning, rather it seems to be speaking of loneliness. While it seems clear that it has love-connotations to it, the song seems to be much more broad than that alone. The last verse portrays helplessness ("my legs fail me, distant lights are calling ... tearing my heart out"). From a lyrical stand point, this song is incredible, and its lyricism is certainly matched with the other songs on the album.

i think its either like revenge, like you broke my heart, but i'm comming in and i'm not gunna let you do this, or about love, you wanna be alone, and shut me out, put me down, but i know you love me so let me in, and we can just be.

This song makes me want to cry when I hear it. To me, it's not about revenge, it's about....longing to be with someone very badly, to help them, or to save them but knowing that you can't. And in the process of trying to tear their walls down - you forget yourself.

leeann87, l absolutely love what you wrote. I completely agree with you. I've only heard this song once...on the plane's alternative radio station on the way back from vacation...I must buy the cd. I immediatly loved the song and scribbled down the name of the band on the paper.

So yeah...can anyone recommend any other good random bands, > or = to pilate?

Is Into the West (under the name Pilot speed) better than caught in the window? Any insight on which of their albums is best would be grately appreciated...

chuck do you have Into the West, and not Caught by the Window? is that why you are asking?

If so I suggest you get CBTW, it is an excellent album and is a lot different then Into the west

I love Pilate.
anyways, I agree with everything that's been said. Maybe about a person that chose drugs over the person or maybe he's saying the person is a drug. But it is about a fake person. I can relate. Beautiful.
